Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
I bought this game during the Steam Fall Sale 2019 For $1.79 USD. I do recommend the game and it's a pretty good deal at that price. While it is a simple game, you basically just avoid obstacles with your head, it is polished and a lot of fun to play. It's also an intense workout. There are 9 levels (including the tutorial) and I only managed to play 30 minutes in two days of playing because I am out of shape. I also cursed a lot during my gameplay. I knew I had to make a video once that happened. You see I'm stuck on level 5 (or 4 if you don't count the tutorial as 1). It's a crazy level. You have to move up and down really quick on rhythm and then also side to side. It just all happens really fast. It took me several tries to get past 17 seconds. The goal is to get to 60 seconds to unlock the next level. I, somehow, managed to get all the way to 47 seconds (with a little luck from RNG). Each level is different. They...
Bought it for the workout but honestly it's not great for that either. They had the right idea in forcing you to move your head but the movements you do are too small to burn big calories and too fast to be comfortable.
This game is not for the weak. It's an absolutely intense workout, and you will suffer. It's...Linea. In VR. You dodge the lines and boxes. The only new point is that your hitbox is your head. There's a few negative points. First, there's no height calibration. If you're a tall boy like me, you're gonna have to get into kind of a squat stance and hold it. If you're a small boy, you're just screwed. Secondly, you have to walk up to the menu and click the trigger in order to select level. Both of these are valid solutions to technical problems (the game area should be kind of a square, the player must start in the start area) , but it makes you wish the devs had figured out another solution. Less understandable is that the level progression is "wrong." The fourth level is significantly harder than the others, due to a sequence where the player has to move up *and down* quickly enough that it requires the player learn a stance specifically to handle that sequence. Given that this stanc...
It's a lot of fun and for how simple it is :)
sorry to say its not that fun. main issue i have, which might be because I havent played much, but it feels like the collision is off. It feels like you're going to miss but dont. if I play more and it improves ill change this.
Surpisingly satisfying, pulse-pumping game. Bob and weave, son!
Very good. Good for exercise too. Things unravel a little later in the game where you have to get your head quickly into a narrow space, and as I am 6 foot tall, this meant bending down and putting a lot of physical pressure on my back and knees. had to stop playing for my own health. Great fun though.
Very simple, tiring, punishing, worth every penny
It's like Beat Saber except just the wall dodging. It's a good leg workout lol. Pretty good game for the price especially if you get it on sale for $2.
