For context, I have a level 40 party and am working on hard dungeon gear farming and infusions currently. The game in it's current state is enjoyable though a few of the systems need clarification in the tutorial (which is under development). For <$1 I have played 7 hours and am progressing. The real fun comes when you have a full party and the boss mechanics come into play. I even defeated a world boss for an epic bracelet earlier, which is part of a set! The job and skill systems are surprisingly deep. This is worth the change, give it a try. Update: I've made it through the current content and am awaiting the opening of the raid content next week. Still very much enjoying the game in its current state. The nexus presents a pretty solid challenge.

User Reviews
This is a slightly early review so if I change my mind I might update it later. For the cost this game is surprisingly (or perhaps unsurprisingly if you're like me) fun. It's only a dollar and it's not perfect but it is very playable even with the few bugs I've encountered. The game is basically a turn based RPG with a metagame/structure of an MMO ala FFXIV. Each class has a set role like DPS, Tank or Healer with MMO style skills. The gameplay feels good in battle and loot grinding is satisfying. The whole appeal of this game is in the loot grinding and progression. The kind of thing MMO and ARPG players will be into. If you like growing your characters from zero to hero then you should like this. I am eager to see where the dev takes the game and to see what he adds. I really hope that we see more games like this in the future too.
Almost didn't buy / try the game as it was <1$. How good can it be when it's that cheap??? I've got ~2 hours into it and having fun. Looking forward to more play time later tonight.
Zero dev support on launch can't even play because of black screen refunding.
Neato!
