Arietta of Spirits

The game itself has it flaws, sure, it isn't the best game you will ever play. But it is relaxing in a way, the world is okey-ish designed and the boss battles can be pretty nice. But, the biggest issue with this game are the crashed to desktop. I have had threee in the last 15 minutes and that makes it unplayble to be honest. There aint alot of options to tinker with, and there shouldnt be in a game like this, so there is nothing much I can do about it. I have crashes before at the start of the game as well. And in my sub 3 hours of gameplay, it has now crashed 6 times. That, it way too much. So i just cannot recommand this game.

A relatively short but sweet adventure. Finished the game on easy mode after play 2 sessions totaling about 4 hours. I felt the length was perfect for what it is: a simple action adventure game with an emotional story. The main characters managed to display depth and charm despite the short amount of time you have to get to know them. I did really find myself wishing for a map. It would be a great boon to the game, as sometimes I just wandered until I found the right place. Overall, an enjoyable and visually appealing pixel art game that succeeds at what it set out to do.

The biggest issue of this game is that it feels incomplete, the story ends rapidly but it feels like nothing was truly resolved. For that reason I can't recommend it, unless you are curious.
