Plenty of lovely ladies in this game, but the only thing they do is kiss. Lots and lots of descriptions of kissing and ladies in various states of undress... just kissing. Nothing else. It gets frustrating pretty quickly.

While there is a lot to like about this game, I have to say that it suffers a case of false advertising since every character in the game is technically a futanari. This comes about sadly and, perhaps, unintentionally because of a combination of facts in the lore. Mild spoilers follow: humans can only reproduce through a type of magic which makes them grow a set of male genitals, every character can undergo this transformation under the right circumstances and that magic is an integral part of being human, not a spell that people cast. In the story this issue is only explicitly addressed in two lines where the heroine talks about growing the extra genitals and the MC is excited at the idea of being penetrated. At no point in the story is any such thing shown on screen. Within the fandom this type of futa is sometimes known as a "Hidden Treasure" type: A character who appears normal but can grow male genitals under certain circumstances. Both sensual and heartwarming! I really enjoyed this one. The art isn't bad and definitely made my cheeks flush more than a few times. I don't know if it's worth a whole $9.99, but you can zip through everything to get to all the good stuff in less than 30 minutes. It's listed as a simulation, but I didn't really feel like anything simulated here. This was just a Yuri Eroge VN. This in itself isn't a bad thing! :P I just don't really understand the price tag. Maybe if there were mini games or more story path options... As it is, I'd say buy it on a 50% or greater sale if you're in the mood for a sweet girl x girl story. <3

I enjoyed my time with the game. I especially appreciated the world building and lore, and how the story had a bridge to the earlier work Twin Blue Moons, while still being a standalone experience within the same general universe. I hope there will be more stories in the future that are made within this interesting world that has been created in Twin Blue Moons and expanded here in Lily's Handmaid. The 18+ content was fairly modest and felt more sensual than most other games, with a strong emphasis on kissing scenes and the occasional sensible nudity (bathing, sleeping, etc.) and some light foreplay. I thought it was nice to see that relationships were built up first to some extent between the characters in the story too.

Pros: * A lot of kissing and sexual tension with all the girls * All the girls are very open to sex with one another * Sexy dress design and poses * When there are choices, there is always a comedic lust choice and it doesn't ruin your endings Cons: * The shadowing of the art or "3D-ness" takes some time to get used to * There is one vague mention of a magical penis, but it isn't shown and doesn't really matter * A lot of sex happens, but not many CG for it. Odd how there is none for the main heroine Lily * The "pure love" part of the story felt sudden without convincing build up Overall: Recommended if you want an erotic yuri game and can get used to the art.

[h1]KISSES, KISSES, KISSES[/h1] Lily's Handmaid is an yuri eroge visual novel that you can finish in less than 4 hours. It was nothing special (even for eroge standards), so I can't really recommend it. However, if you want to give it a chance, check my "in-depth" thoughts below. [b]Story:[/b] Sarah, the protagonist of the story, was "forced" to work for Duskheart Family to pay her mother's debts. She's starting her training to become handmaid of Lily - daughter of Duskheart Family's leader. That's it. The whole story revolves around this and slowly takes you to the predictable end. Of course, there are various events where our protagonist gets closer to other women from the Family, but they weren't really interesting (both women and "events"). I've read all three of these visual novels (the Succubus Research Diary and the two handmaid stories) and liked them quite a bit. I have only one issue with this vn: no genitalia are visible. There is no GBTQ+, just L with non-visible magic phalli.

I recently picked up all three games apart of this series, and out of them - this game is most likely the weakest read of them all. You're the former champion of a magic academy. After graduating, you do odd jobs for a while, since your mom has disappeared for a the better part of a year or two, leaving you without much direction. You're kidnapped an older lady and asked to clear your mother's overwhelming debt by, suprisingly, becoming one of her daughters' handmaid. The daughter in question has had a crush on you for years, and this is her mom's last ditch attempt at being a wingman. Most of the game is spent developing your, Sarah, and Lily's relationship. The game doesn't really take it a day at a time and there are sporadic timeskips. I prefer this type of storytelling, as it gets right into the meat of the affections and doesn't waste time with training arcs and nonsensical dilly-dallying.
