Hello my name is hellgames and I usually don't write reviews or use steam but I have been following these guys since they made "Island adventure the beginning" back in xbox 360 and it made me fall in love with the company to the point where I follow them to the platform in which they release their games just so I can keep enjoying their projects, I have played all their games but I have to admit I loved their island adventure sequel the most. I played all 4 parts of the game and I loved the character Karma. I understand being a game developer myself it sometimes feels unrewarding listening to negative reviews after months, or years of hard work. I know I sound like a fanboy but I just wanted to show some love and appreciate how such a small company has thrived on a market so competitive as the game industry. I would solidly suggest you avoid this game, the pacing is an absolute nightmare. Every time you want to play, even once, you have to sit through the entire story line. You can't skip, you can't fast forward, and it defaults to "Yes, explain the lengthy tutorial which also cannot be skipped or fast forwarded" by default, so if you're bored to tears and spamming to try to skip ahead, you're punished by having to repeat the tutorial over and over again. This means, even if you've sat through the tutorial 47 times before, you absolutely must sit and read every line of text as it slowly, and irritatingly fills the speech bubble, then carefully, and with calculated strikes, hit the mouse to continue the story so you can play for 11 seconds and lose. Then the game starts, and you can't win. The dealer literally never busts, I don't think it's even possible, so you lose constantly. I love blackjack too, probably my most favorite card game on Earth, but this game is truly terrible in all regar...

just painfully slow game play, also you cannot skip thru animations at the beginning of the game, this just make a quick 21 game seems too boring. 4/10

This game was really, really boring. It'd probably be more fun if you could skip animations you've seen before. It gets really annoying and takes way too long to get through the game.

This game doesn't feel finished, and it has so many problems. It explains so much and at the same time so little. Like the game goes into detail explaining how black jack works, yet doesn't explain how the two dice rolls work when it happens. Everyone in the reviews were saying that there isn't a skip function. You truly don't understand how necessary that is until you play it. Everything takes FOREVER to happen, and considering how long it expects you to play, that is unforgivable. I lasted maybe one game before I gave up and just wanted my credits in hopes that it would unlock the store. But nope! The game kicked me to the main menu, with nothing unlocked, and to progress I would have to replay the VERY long opening cut scene again. (can't skip it) It takes so long to get through one game because of how random blackjack is, which wouldn't be so bad if the game didn't replay that same long animations over and over again.
