So, while I never got to attend camp, a lot of my friends did, so sometimes I'd stop by camp to help them on special occasions, such as safe halloween where they neede volunteers for extra help. It always looked like a lot of fun and I really regretted that I never got to have the full camp experience when I was younger. This game finally let me have a bit more taste for what camp might have been like. It was absolutely charming and magical in that way with plenty of "awwwww" moments through out that had me a bit misty eyed. Even better, this is the sequal to psy high, and it continues the excellent story of the first in a strong stand alone tale taking place a year or two later. Some of the characters from the first appear, with many new faces appearing. It was wonderful to see my protaganist from years ago return and see how the character evolved as the story continued. There were a few places where I wished the story wasn't so all this or all that, where there'd be some middle groun...

About This Game
What If Summer Could Last Forever?
Summer is a magical time: suspended between past and future, long days and warm nights. One year after saving Kingsport High at the junior prom, you’ve graduated, and you’re working as a counselor at a sleepaway camp before heading off to college. You’re in charge of a cabin full of nine- and ten-year-olds, responsible for taking care of them and teaching them everything you know. But you’re also enjoying a summer of freedom: you’re away from your parents and on your own.
Camp Cedarcrest has its share of mysteries. Why do the people in the camp’s photos look like they never age? Why is the groundskeeper always lurking on the edges of the camp? Why can’t your friends remember what happened last summer? And what about the ghost stories? Generations of campers tell stories about seeing the White Lady floating through the woods.
When you meet the White Lady and her companions, you discover that what’s really going on in the forest is even stranger than just ghosts - and when you find a powerful source of new magic, you also discover that it comes with a high price. How far are you willing to go to preserve or destroy it?
And how are you ever going to figure that out while you’ve got a dozen kids looking to you for the answers to their life’s questions? Are you even ready for that? You’re still just a kid yourself. But you’re the only person who can save the camp – and the only one who can make the big choices about how to use the magic that you’ve discovered.
All your friends from Kingsport High are just a text away: you can always look to your best friend for support, ask the editor of the school newspaper to help with research, or sneak a date with your hometown sweetheart.
Sing songs around the campfire, eat s’mores, make friendships that will last forever.

Another story that I just couldn't get into. I guess this would be a good fit for somebody longing to have to "fun-filled" time of High School back, but if you weren't one of those kids, I just don't think you're going to enjoy it. Only a few minutes in and I found it too cheesy and annoying. 2/10.
If you enjoyed the first story, pick this up. It lets you carry over a save from the first entry, which is always an amazing feature when you can find it. Even a fresh start is a fun read, but I still think that the experience leans on you having read the first entry.
All the fun and nostalgia of going to Summer Camp without actually having to go to summer camp. This is a wonderful sequel but more than that, a game that stands on its own two feet, it was lovely getting back into my character's shoes, exploring new aspects of her personality and what she did after the first game and what kind of person she is now. I really hope Psy High 3 happens, I can't even begin to imagine what the premise would be after this but damn, I really dug this game and I really can't wait to play it again some time soon.
Good story about magic. Worth playing the first game first as you can import your save and carry on with your choices from the last game. The choices aren't just based on your actions and words, but also the intention behind them. There's a few bugs. I broke up with Alison, but it kept thinking I was still with her. At one point it said "You get a text from blank. What do you want to reply to blank?" and then when I replied it told me that I miss blank very much.
Im on chapter 6 right now, and i'm really liking this game, plot intruiges me a lot more than the first, which i liked a fair amount. There does seem to be a glitch where it keeps saying that im dating carl, even though i broke up with him, though its minor in my view, but i decided to mention it because its a tad bit annoying, and it could be a deal breaker for some people.
Somehow found the game really nostalgic for some strange reason. Really loved the game!
It had quite a bittersweet ending but I really enjoyed High Summer a lot, it did not have as much romance as I would like with past characters but it had just enough, and one of the things I enjoyed about Psy High in general was the fact that I did not regret any of my decisions! I highly recommend this!
