It's not about how many enemies you have on the screen and how "clunky" you might say the controls are, it's about the atmosphere. Big empty rooms? They're only empty of enemies so you can take in the amazing surroundings of the game's beautiful art design. PLUS this is the first game of this developer team, and it's very good.

Itorah is a decent game, and I believe it should deserve more than Steam review score which by the time this review written is 72% of 582 user reviews. I grade Itorah slightly higher around 78 / 100, and recommend to get this game on sale. Positive: 1. Art and world are beautiful and unique, I can see the art details and artist passion, animation are pretty, also the world setting seems to be inspired with south American culture which make this game unique. This is a major positive point. 2. OST and SFX are ok. I can hear south American song effect like, but still can be improved. 3. Story is ok, but I have few confusions. [spoiler] The story is similar with Ender Lilies, purifying plaque corruption-like that keep spreading but in south american culture way. There is few things that the game does not properly explain such as how Kamali grow, how ancient technology related with "spiritual and magical", how animals able to talk and civilized in current world etc...
