So far fun for the price. Good music, fun combat and building. Needs more block types. Needs more classes. Needs more enemy types. World needs more plants and stuff to harvest. But with this said the game is still being worked on and should get better with time<I HOPE>. Game runs very smooth and fun with friends. If you like games like these pick it up its fun and will help Devs make it better with feedback from US.For the 9.99 price tag it is fun....but only time will tell. PS.. I have also made a STEAM controller layout that works well with the games current state and future things like change view aka F2 steam://controllerconfig/1129730/1919139936 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1919158104

Nope. Not even a little bit. Maybe as a class project or something with off the shelf assets to show you know the foundational aspects of game design? But no... Permanently deleting this bad boy.

I do recommend this game, but with some strings attached. Read on. Don't get this game if you expect a full experience. As of the writing of this review, the game is extremely bare-bones. Obviously this is to be expected from an early access release. What I will say is that this game has a lot of potential. It is stable, and in the 90 minutes I've played so far, I haven't really encountered any serious bugs. There is a unique system of customization; you are able to choose to play up to 2 classes simultaneously, and all classes come with talent trees and perks. The skill systems will almost certainly be more refined over time. I do, however, wish the mouse movements were a little more crisp. Precise movements are essential for aiming in this game. We also need the option to re-bind more controls than simply the action bars (I type Dvorak, and it's kind of annoying having to switch to the qwerty layout to play properly). Overall, if you decide that the game isn't developed e...

A fun, more challenging and complex alternative to other games in the voxel genre. The creators were clearly inspired by Minecraft, but the similarities between the two games are all surface level. In my opinion, Lost Existence is a paradigm shift in the voxel genre, introducing unique combat and movement features such as double jumping, dodging, cling physics, etc. It has the difficulty of a From Software title, customizable classes similar to World of Warcraft with a talent system and fusions. I have been impressed this far, I am hoping to see more content in the future. Very promising for an early access title!

A Minecraft clone with too much sandbox going on and not enough to do. You enter a juttery and prone-to-crashing land that looks like it was built as a mod to Minecraft and plays about as well as one too! I tried the Berserker class but from reading other reviews, they all are some sort of sword/sorcery combination. You wander the land fighting 3 types of bad guy: a spider, a skeleton and a guy in armour. They and everything else in the world are made of gems. Through a combination of gem exchange and transmogrification (a fancy word for low level gem exchange), you purchase stat upgrades. You can also get them by living as jumping builds Dexterity, swordplay builds Strength. You've played Oblivion so you get the idea. There are mines, houses and dungeons to find. But they seem empty for the most part. Building is via blocks so if you've played any voxel-based game there's nothing new here. I managed to play for an hour before I lost interest. You can run for miles in one direction and...

This game has absolutely fantastic potential if the developers keep updating it. The controls are extremely smooth, the combat feels good and you're actually rewarded for every level and point spent.
