About the Game

Find a piece of land where you could build your home. You start as a simple farmer or a hunter, but after you gain more experience, learn and hone your skills, you can become the head of a prospering town. Design, build and improve your house - from a simple hut to an extensive farm. Convince people to join your village. Find your true love and create a family, ensuring the continuity of your dynasty. Play solo or team up with friends and explore the beautiful but harsh medieval world in the Co-Op Mode together.

An expansive, open world awaits you. Face hot summer months and cold winters and make sure that neither you nor your people lack anything.

Medieval Dynasty will captivate you with its unique genre combination for the ultimate medieval experience!

Defy the seasons: Make sure that neither you nor your population starve or die of thirst. Hunt wild animals, plant crops or trade resources to be ready for anything.

It is in your hands: Without the right tools, you won't get far – whether you're hunting, chopping trees, harvesting or building. But watch out for wear and tear so that your pickaxe doesn't become unusable in the middle of nowhere.

Live and learn: Develop your character, specialize, or become a true jack-of-all-trades as you interact with NPCs, care for your family, explore the lush world, or complete tasks for others.

Start a village: You are a town planner, builder and warden all in one! Co-ordinate the layout, manage the residents, gather resources, produce goods and trade to help the community grow and prosper.

The medieval world, with its dangers and gorgeous surroundings is in your reach!

  • Realistic Open World: Explore two expansive maps, the Valley (Solo) and The Oxbow (Solo and Co-Op) in a beautiful open world.

  • Cooperative Multiplayer: Team up with up to 4 friends for a cooperative gaming experience.

The game needs more interaction with NPCs, romance and diplomacy. If dev allows mods to be created, this game can be much more interesting. However, the game needs a lot more contents to make it feels like a true dynasty game. A good game needs good challenge otherwise it's just a medieval life simulation. I have to give it a negative for now but will change the reviews when there's more interesting updates.

Erecting a Dynasty is Hard Work Came for the survival, stayed for the procreation. For the first 20 hours, I was just a lonely guy beating my wood in the forest Then the game told me the main quest was to find a wife and produce an heir. Suddenly the real grind began. Turns out you can't just walk up to a medieval 10/10 and show her your massive.. pile of logs. You have to sweet talk her and pretend you don't smell like a fermented bog monster. Finally got her back to my one room shack The game's objective popped up Ensure the continuation of your dynasty. Let's just say my dynasty was thoroughly ensured that night. 10/10. The ultimate build a house to get laid simulator.

Beautiful art and assets. My first few hours I was loving it and expected this to be another 1000 hour + game...but no... It's a good game for 50 hours or so...then it's BAF. The 'end game' is basically decorating while you wait for your heir to age so it can takeover...but you've probably built and seen everything looooong before then so there's literally nothing left to do except some random fetch quests...and that gets old rather quickly. You can start over on the other map (there's only 2) but you're just repeating what you've already done, just in a new location. That can be fun for some, if that's you, you'll love the game. That's not me, so I can't recommend.

A hundred hours in, it's time for a review. First of all, this game is a type of game that I've been searching for a very long time. It's a really niche but beautiful game, with simple but interesting mechanics and a good story. Sadly though it's not dubbed very much, but this flaw can be overlooked. The story is very good and intriguing, straight forward and unexpected. It also has a very good replayability, since you can adapt your village to your own style. I really hope the devs will keep up their good work and continue developing this gem. Cheers.

Comfy log chopping / wife finding simulator. >start my village - chop logs all spring >get first 2 citizens (man and woman) >flirt with the women for 2 season >tryna wife her up.. go into town for a gift to give her >when i come back she married the other dude :( >start chopping logs all winter, build more houses >invite every single woman from a nearby gypsy camp to live with me >they are ungreatful and ruin my life and wont talk to me because I'm too stinky 10/10

One of the best town builder / management / survival games around. The stories are great and visually the game is outstanding. The two maps are very well done. The in game menus are easy to navigate and are very straight forward to use. A real pleasure to play/

I hate to say this, because I really wanted to like this game, but Medieval Dynasty was not a great experience. While the survival, city-building, and NPC interactions seemed promising at first, the game feels stretched too thin across these areas and not developed enough to have a distinct identity. It's also incredibly grindy, which makes progression in singleplayer a slog.

Its like Banished or Frostpunk, but you live in the village and interact with the people living there. A mix of Skyrim and an overhead strat resource management with survival elements. The game is very fun, the landscape is beautiful, the weather dynamics are great and its very relaxing to just build a beautiful town. The UI cant be a bit overwhelming and I have had to restart several times cause this game does not hold your hand. I would recommend watching some tutorials on Youtube to really understand bc the crafting, reputation and management system are very in depth and can be really hard to get a hold of on your own. Highly recommend for anyone that likes survival and building and decorating.

I love solo playing ARK and Conan but both games lack NPC interaction, so when I saw MD, I thought this was the game I had been looking for. While I will say that the game is easy to figure out and has a good overall design, it fell a little short of what I was hoping for. It unfortunately has neither an interesting worldbuild or fun NPC interactions and the result is a repetitive slog of resource collection. These were my main issues: 1. Worldbuilding - The maps are small and mostly empty. Other than a few delivery quests, there really isn't much to do and there is no incentive to explore. Also, don't go into this game expecting historical accuracy. I like games where I feel like I'm learning about the time period/lore as I play and you don't get that in MD. Instead it feels like you and all the NPCs are trapped in a renaissance fair LARP. Not a dealbreaker for everyone but it was a little disappointing for me. 2. Decoration - As previous reviewers have mentioned, everything is prem...
