“With a heavy focus on character development and worldbuilding, peppered with ample moments of gripping twists and gameplay-induced suspense, it’s easy to lose your sense of time trying to find out what happens next.”
92/100 - Gamer8

"It has amazing art, sound design and unique options for making each mission victory feel personal to the player."
4/5 - Hardcore gamer

"「ドルフロ」と並ぶMICAteam雲母組の源流を汲み取れる作品であることはもちろん,シリーズ作を知らない場合でもジェフティとモンドの物語に集中でき,他作品を知っている場合は人形たちの活躍にワクワクできる贅沢なゲームとなっていた。"

Despite many present signs pointing to the contrary, this game is a reminder that Mica Team can cook. This game has that magical knack for throwing seemingly-impossible odds at you and giving you just the right tools to slowly, carefully pick those enemy formations apart. A strategy game and a story game that I can recommend with my chest out. I've never been so happy to play Chinese Novels in my life

Pretty good SRPG for the price point. There's a bunch of stealth segments and optional objectives that require stealth, so that's something to keep in mind. There's also a ton of visual novel-like story scenes between missions. Those that enjoy the GFL universe will likely find extra enjoyment in this one.

Pretty good game. I bought it at launch, but I work for a living, so I still haven't beaten it over a year later.

I really like this game and I'm sad that the marketing for this game is bad, but there are some issues with this game. In general the game is a very hard SRPG, mostly in a good way.
The good
Items and AP: Instead of having one action per turn you can do multiple depending on your AP. The game also gives you a ton of items such as grenades, placements (turrets, barricades) and traps to place around the map. The items are highly effective and make combat missions dynamic and very fun. Diverse Missions: A lot of missions play very different from one an other and need different ways to beat them. From standard A to B fights to 3 way fights where you are the weaker force. Difficulty (non-stealth): Combat is oppressive, when you are getting battered by the enemy a new wave is already coming. You ask yourself how you can win this time, but you'll figure it out. The Soundtrack: One of those that really elevate a game to the next level. Not much else t...

I really loved my time with this game. While the stealth missions can be grating at times and the game itself can be very punishing, I felt the overall experience was satisfying and it is definitely one of my favorite SRPGs. The story, art, and music were also phenomenal and I find myself thinking back on it frequently, 9/10.

Story is in-depth and engaging, with a great focus on the world-building. This offers a greater prospective into the overall lore of gfl and continues the franchise's themes of struggle against insurmountable odds and yz's favourite 爱与希望. Gameplay is fun and not too difficult on standard difficulty, and the enemies are varied and interesting.

This game is amazing! Quite possibly my GOTY a year late. The art is awesome, gameplay is super fun and challenging, even for someone who isn't a strategy game expert, and the story is engaging, albeit the characters being a bit cliche at times. My main gripe is it's too short and only took me about 140ish hours to beat :( lol. I got it on sale for less than $20 and after playing bought the DLC just to support the team who made it. I hope there can be more of this in the future. 10/10

Highly innovative SRPG : great sprawling story with interesting and cohesive worldbuilding. Great item-based gameplay. Perfect on steamdeck. This is one of the best SRPG i've played in recent years with triangle strategy, tactics ogre remake and tactical break wizards. Highly recommended and instant classic for genre amateurs
