Ancient Dungeon

Very fun, but VERY HARD game. Multiplayer feature is super neat, but the gameplay is very hardcore even the first dungeon. Also...something is wrong with some swings - you can see your sword hitting the target and you swing the controller pretty swiftly, but it doesn't register damage to the enemy... tons of unlockables, one downside: NO SAVE feature after boss battles. I'd love to have one at least on normal difficulty, because I won't survive more than 1 floor at a time. not much time playing + we die a lot even in the green area, lol The game often unfair in terms of generation - it generates TONS of gold, but shop gives very crappy items that downgrade you basically, if you have tons of healing items - they spawn a lot, BUT YOU DON'T NEED THEM at the moment + only 1 inv slot!!! OR! a lot of weapon and stat upgrades and no HP items at all...at least that's my runs, some of which lasted only like 15-20 mins max because of the experience above, lol. just not a big fan on how the combat feels in this one. really want to like it but it just doesnt feel very dynamic and could've easily been a flatscreen game. it doesnt matter where you hit, how you hit, how hard you swing, if you stab or slash. it just keep waving around your arm till they die. the only change in gameplay is your stats and bonus's through items. i want to see if the magic or archery is more fun but i just cant push myself to unlock them. if i were to describe the combat in a few words it'd be "minecraft combat"

Not enough variety in gameplay and interesting encounters to warrant playing, as the novelty of the bare-bones dungeon layouts and copy paste enemies each level gets stale really quickly.

it might be boring at first and u may not like the graphics but its game is really good all the things u can unlock and explore its really great I havent tried co op but I am sure that will be even more fun

Absolutely incredible game. To date it is and most likely always will be my first recommendation to anyone trying out VR for the first time. Being a roguelike, it can be pretty difficult at first, but as long as you stick with it, you'll find that it's a tough, but fair gameplay loop. Simply playing the game will let you unlock insight, which acts as a way to unlock perks to boost your odds of survival within the dungeon, and completed runs will let you upgrade your weapons and make them stronger. There's likewise a hard mode which lets you up the difficulty in several aspects. Want to fight more enemies? You can do that. Want to give bosses more health and let them deal double damage to you? Go for it. Want to gimp yourself in health while also making it impossible to find anything other than half-a-heart healing items? You can do it.
