Purple Place - Classic Games

Damn this childhood memories 💔

a cheap ripoff of the original. even if its cheap, just look for an original version of PURBLE PLACE online. with a B. not whatever this is.

While very similar to the original Purble Place (similar enough for me to initially think it was it), it has some pretty annoying bugs and insane RNG based achievements, one of which is in the same place as said annoying glitch. The special cards in the match game give you hints near constantly when flipped, often multiple times a game. Also, while I'm not entirely sure, the trading card images give me AI vibes. While I don't dock points for broken English, especially when I don't know the writer's native language, it does add on to earlier complaints and "You win next time" with the characters' disappointed expressions when you lose gives off a threatening aura, like they'll hurt me if I screw up again.

depressing slog of a 100%, took me 8 hours to get the first time right on hard mode clothes thing. The other stuff is just stupidly easy or an awful grind. Fun to play like once but I'm not sure if it's even worth it on sale

Purple Place - Classic Games Review (Disclaimer - This is just my opinion and may be unpopular or disliked.) (Positive) 1. It brought back nostalgia for me as it was a game that came with Windows 7 (2009). 2. It has three mini games that you can play on different difficulties. 3. This game is casual and can be played to just pass the time, wait for another game to download, or simply just to see the art style as it is pretty cute. (The cake has always looked tasty AF to me) 4. The games are all types of puzzle games from baking cakes according to orders, memory of card positions before it being flipped over and you having to find the matching cards and lastly correctly assembling features of cartoony people. (Negative) 1. The original game for Windows 7 was more difficult with baking cakes where you later could become swamped with cake trays that prevent you from sliding back to complete multiple orders. This does bring back the memories, even if it is fan-made. There are three minigames: 1. Memory match: you don't need me to tell you how to play it, just make pairs; 2. Fashion Frenzy: guessing game about choosing accessories on a character; 3. Cake Factory: the GREATEST OF ALL TIME, the minigame that everyone remembers. And that's all! Back in the day this simplicity is all that we needed, and it is a real shame that the real one does not longer come with windows anymore, forcing you to go on sketchy websites only to satisfy your nostalgia. It's not the same game, since some things like the goofy sounds are missing, but it still was great to remember such a great time in my life.
