Its a nice RPG styled game with several party members you can swap around with. There are quite a lot of references in this game and some of them are pretty funny. Personally, I liked the Dr. Who reference in the third act as well as some aspects of Majora's mask

peak
Haven't finished it just yet, I believe I'm around the mid-way point after 15 in game hours. This game has tons and tons and tons of content that is actually fun, not just filler, each party member you get has an additional story mission that fleshes them out and at the end gives you an ultimate power for them. The main story is engaging so far and I want to see how it unfolds, just based on the reviews I have seen of other people, it won't dissapoint at all. Love it so far and I don't see that changing, highly underappreciated game that if any famous youtuber ever makes a video on it you will see it explode right away.
