Charming logic puzzle with a forest theme. I found the level of challenge pretty good. It might be too easy for someone with a strong logic background but for everyone else there should be several hours of gaming. One thing that could be improved is the interface. It gets tedious to have to walk back to tress to re-hear their comments, when it would be easier to be able to click on them. Overall really good game, and different from most others. The character development of the trees makes it interesting, and the story adds a feeling of reward.

Gameplay
Senna and the Forest is a puzzle game with a heavy focus on logic and deduction. You start in a forest where you go about discovering the identities of trees and their story, by talking to them, obtaining clues and piecing the clues together. The entire forest is a family where some trees are inflicted with strange diseases or mutations which are passed on to their children and can be used to deduce their identities. The deeper you venture into the forest the more you learn about its story, about how a forest once rich and dense is now all but destroyed. As you continue Senna's journey you encounter a forest ravaged by disease, where you'll have to find out how the disease attacked the trees and in what order. You'll encounter an old temple with mysterious runes that must be put together in the right order, but beware of the hints you get from the trees there as some of them are known to lie!

If you like deduction-type puzzles, this is a great game and I'd definitely recommend picking it up. It feels very rewarding to complete.
What an awesome little puzzle game. The puzzle is unique and great for those who love logic puzzles. The artwork is simple but pleasing and the interface enhances the puzzling. I really enjoyed this game and wish I had more levels to play!
This lovely little gem has been a terrific game for my 10 year old daughter and I to play together. Its combination of relaxing pace, welcoming visuals, and unusually presented and fun logic puzzles has been great for us. At least the first two thirds; the last "world" has left us a bit in the dark. Still, recommended and we would love to see more like this!
Fun game, talk to trees with silly names and use logic. Leans heavily on working memory unless you take notes.
This was such a fun logic game. I really enjoyed it. I'm glad I took a chance on buying it. There's a few quality of life improvements that could have made it a much better game, the interface felt a bit clunky and I'd have liked to have been able to mark clues as solved, or the clues I didn't need to refer to. Having to click multiple times through dialogue to read it all was frustrating too. But it was still fun. I was disappointed when I reached the end and wanted to play more. Edit: It's 2020 now and there's been two content updates to the game, with new sections, which I was delighted to find. Two whole new areas with puzzles to explore. YAY! I enjoyed the game when I first bought it, so with extra content it's even more worthwhile playing. And one of the trees in the game told me to use a pen and paper, which I suppose I should. :)
It's cute, it's free, it has puzzles. What more could one want? Senna and the Forest is a short game where you talk to various plants and solve logic puzzles. The controls can be a bit clunky from time to time, but not enough to significantly disrupt the gameplay. There are four short levels of slightly different puzzles, which are pretty decent; my only issue was that the game expects you to guess some of the solutions instead of giving you enough information to solve the riddle without guessing. But at this price, I can't really complain.
Senna and the Forest is a neat short puzzle game about identifying entities (trees, flowers, pillars, whatever) by the hints they give you. Once you've assigned or guessed three entities correctly, they're verified and locked in. It's essentially a very limited form of the guess mechanic in Return of the Obra Dinn, though Senna obviously doesn't have the story, atmosphere, or polish of that game. I liked that the puzzles were of moderate difficulty while still often requiring note-taking to solve. Conversely, I was a bit annoyed that it seemed like I had to guess slightly on quite a few occasions, though I think this was intentional, since the number of required guesses was always very low. As in: here are two trees, and I have two names to assign, so I just have to try both combinations. Also, there's only a skeleton of a story, but it has no real payoff; the ending to the final chapter 4 is very abrupt, with no epilogue.
This was a pretty nice little game. I'm excited to see where the story goes next
Neat little logic game. I did end up having to do some guessing towards the end, but it never got very frustrating.
