I was on the fence about this one but finally decided to give it a thumbs up. 1. Way too many levels with henchmen who steal resources. There are some strategies to help with that but they are still a pain! 2. And I found a bug in level 51 (for those of you in the USA... is this Area 51?). I didn't try until the end to clear the big pothole in the upper left in front of the bridge. When I got to it, I couldn't clear it. It kept highlighting like it needed to be done but wouldn't let me click it. On replay, I cleared it early in the level without a problem. Other than those two issues, I really enjoyed the game!

About This Game
An unknown thief had ransacked the national museum and got away with the namesakes of the empire's oldest rulers. A team of detectives picked up a trail that led across the border, but then disappeared. The Queen summoned Elena. "The items stolen are of paramount value to the empire and crown," she said in a slightly wavering voice. "We mustn't lose them." "I understand, your Majesty," Elena answered. "But announcing their disappearance would only complicate the matter, so you must carry out your duty in the strictest secrecy! You shall at once be sent abroad under the guise of an ambassador to carry out your investigation in secret. You must track down the perpetrator and force them to return what was stolen." Elena soon found herself on a top-secret covert mission of vital interest to the Crown. Her first order of business upon arrival was notifying the local police of the missing valuables.
"Were the items stolen from your hotel or at the port?" Asked the chief of police, his moustache twitching like a walrus'. "Neither," Elena answered, "they were stolen on the boat, but I know for certain the culprit is still here. "Hm...very well," the officer let out with an air of authority. "We'll get on the case at once, don't you worry. There isn't a criminal out there who can slip away from me..." By evening, the list of suspects had been narrowed down to a few names. Elena asked the chief if she could accompany the detectives to identify the culprit, and he gave his permission. Elena was not only sharp as a tack, but was well-versed in the new deductive method, which had already helped her crack open five robbery cases, two murders and one case of destruction of hotel property. In the end, Elena and the detective team tracked down the artifact thief and were just waiting for the judge to sign the arrest warrant, when an urgent telegram came in from the Prime Minister with orders to meet that very night. She had no choice but to return home that very instant and put her operation on hold. What was it that happened in the palace that forced her to abandon her job and return immediately?
Join Elena on an unforgettable adventure through an alternate Victorian world across the endless Emperor Desert Valley, the green banks of the Nile, a volcanic island and more! Will good conquer evil? Can Elena return the Crown of the Empire?

I've never played a resource/time management game quite like this, so the mechanics were refreshing. It is possible to 3-star all the levels so long as you pay attention to what resources are needed and plan accordingly. However, I have two complaints. 1 - Skip the story. It's just white savior colonialism BS that isn't new or even makes sense. 2 - It needs more audio responses when a target is selected. OK. OK. OK. OK.
I got this game for a couple of bucks. So its worth a passing grade. This is basically a point and click puzzle game where you manage time and resources. Simple, can be challenging later on. The only thing missing is a level editor. All in all, deserves a passing grade. Well done.
"Crown of the Empire" is a pointless "12 Labours of Hercules" screen tapper/clicker game. There's no gameplay, just tapping on the screen. The game is made to look like you're making interesting decisions as you're presented with a map of a town/village/pathway that has you clicking on various things to collect things which are then consumed when you click on an obstacle, which unlocks more things to click on. This is so lame and shallow, you could write a script to randomly click the screen and given enough time, it would beat the game. This is an asset flip, it's copy + pasted from the same basic Hercules/platespinner asset and reskinned by the serial offenders at Creobit, who continually copy + paste the same game templates onto Steam... something they've done literally hundreds of times. This guy is a major polluter. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game an insane THIRTY THREE TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash...
Best time management game I've played, but doesn't have achievements :/
Took a chance on this and have ZERO regrets. LOVE this game. HIGHLY recommend it to fans of time management games alike. Be sure to pick it up for fifty cents like I did. No-brain purchase. If you're reading this years from now and somehow this game no longer hits fifty cents, all I can say is HA. EDIT: After completing the game, I just want to add that this game is INSANELY difficult to get 3 stars on levels the farther you progress into each zone of the world. So if you want something super challenging, super engaging and super addictive all at once, this game is for you. The 99 Everywhere trophy I obtained by replaying level 50. You just leave the last Mill at level 2 and then slowly get 109 resources of each. It says you need 99 but once you build that Mill to level 3 to end the level, it takes resources to build. I think you need 104 coal and coal is the resource that takes the longest because you only get 3 coal every time it spits out.
Crown of the Empire is an enjoyable time management game. It's pretty basic and fun.
i need to get a life chill game tho, feel free to play it, fellow useless member of society
It's very simple to play. However, It is actually pretty challenging to get 3 stars on some of the levels so far. I got this on sale for less than a dollar and would of spent more for the amount of time this game is giving me <3 This is an awesome casual time killer. Go for it <3
