It's terrifying the first time you play it. As you play more rounds, you get used to it, but discover more unsettling things. The breaking lights surprise me without ease and it gets more unnerving midway through the game play, especially with the noises. I've noticed that when you look around, the interface is rather "glitchy". It's probably intentional to help the player understand that the backrooms are another reality filled with non-Earthly things, but I'm not the biggest fan of it. If this game had dead ends, it would be way more terrifying even though the map is randomly generated, (please don't though) This game won't have you on the edge of your seat for all the seconds you're playing it, but it always will at one point.

I have yet to exit the first level successfully. Will enter the backrooms and fail again - especially for free.

A cool idea, but mostly a tech demo. Could do with some more verity in the map (a few bigger rooms here and there would add a lot) and some more things to do in the labyrinth, maybe clues or hints to the exit or tools to get past obstructions. Looking forward to the full game!

The visual and audio distortions to simulate hallucinations are great. But I run for miles, find pretty much nothing, as well as nothing that's an actual threat. I rate this game, boring as f*ck, thanks.

Delicious unlimited liminal space mixed with anxiety driven scares.

When you figure out how it's done, you're going to exit alive like a walk in the park. Until then, you (=your character) will probably panic, go insane and die. It's about 30mins of your time well spent. Try it!

First win on my second try lol, 394 meters travelled and just under 10 min Definitely a good & fun game with good replay value with the way the "scoring" works. For a free game, definitely a 9/10. It does what it set out to do perfectly, just wish it was slightly more optimised but I am also on a $500 mini-PC so I don't have much say

Yeah, this is the deal... Nothing but the stink of old, moist carpets, the madness of mono-yellow, and the blinding light of fluorescent bulbs at maximum hum-buzz. Over 600 million sq. miles of randomly segmented rooms. God save you if you hear something wandering nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you.
