The game itself is very good, with a classic, unwavering plot and consistent characters, but perhaps a little too clichéd. I'd say the puzzles aren't particularly difficult, except for the final level, where they're perhaps starting to lose some logic. The ending is terrible, clearly designed to pave the way for a sequel that never happened, and I found it very rushed and poorly crafted. Overall, it leaves a positive experience.

not bad wish there was like secret items to find
I would recommend this game for anyone who enjoys being immersed in Bran Stoker’s world of Dracula and wants more. It was an interesting story and enjoyed playing Van Helsing trying to solve a mystery. I enjoyed the point n’ click mechanic but there were a bit too many puzzles and they were a bit too uneven. Some were fun and interesting but quit a few were way too difficult and really took away from the experience. Also, some tedious pixel hunting involved in this game. I would suggest you really need a walkthrough to get the most out of it and cut down on the frustration. Worth it for the story experience just buy it during a Steam sale.
Wonderful old fashioned point and click. Had to get help on how to get it to run (change to compatibility with Windows 7, download PhysXLoader.dll). Also had to use a walkthrough for many of the puzzles, but I don't mind doing that. Loved the artwork, the story, the world travel.
