TL;DR: I'd say it's a Slormancer is a solid 6.5, but with how many great games are out there, that's not really good enough. My main gripe with the game are boring enemies, combined with the game suddenly placing a big gind-wall in front of you after 8 hours in. In detail: Slormancer is a a classic Hack and Slash ARPG along the lines of Chronicon, Nobody saves the World or Into the Necrovale. Its story is intentionally not serious as at all and intentionally pokes fun at common RNG tropes. Gameplay-wise Sloremance is smooth. Overall there's a large amount of "illusion of choice" going on, with the game visually offering a lot paths, just for you to realize that most skills are build around each other so that they become literally useless unless you pick certain combinations. The easy re-skilling does compensate this, and there is a good amount of build variety, but enemies are very basic, not very interesting to engage and the game does become really grindy around 8 hours. I don't min...

User Reviews
As many other reviews I just found it got old pretty fast. At about 10 hours in you've seen literally everything the game has and it's just the same enemies and environment over and over and over while being forced to grind out to fight the final boss. Meh. I guess it's worth it at $10, but for any more it's kind of a waste.
If you have time to kill, go for it. It’s a really good game. Hopefully, they’ll add some additional endgame content because with the right build, you don’t even have to min-max your items; you can just blast through everything. The loot filter and item bonus tweaking work well. It’s still RNG, but you don’t have to spend your entire life farming for that one specific item to be insanely strong.
The game is okay overall, but the progression is pretty bad. After finishing the campaign at around level 36, you enter a horrendous grind until you unlock the Netherworld after completing Trials Part 2. There's no way you'll complete Trial Part 2 below level 90 because of the Adam Nostrus boss, which is ridiculously broken compared to the other Trials Part 2 missions. Unless you're lucky enough to drop gear with the necessary legendary effects from a broken build, and the Netherworld is the only place where you'll focus farm items. You could reverse this by doing Trials Part 1 until level 50 or 60, unlocking the Netherlands, and then modifying Trials Part 2 to after level 100 or something similar.
Good game, go play it
Endless fun, endless builds, and I barely have scratched the surface in the endgame. It’s a must buy for sure!
The game has a strong start in the early game as the campaign introduces you to the different mechanics. The campaign is fairly short and you are suddenly hit by a grind wall where end game modes are slowly introduced to you, with the final chapter locked behind end game progression. It is a weird design choice but not a deal breaker. However, the issue is that the mid to end game grind becomes tedious with slow visible progression. You are repeating the same 3 game modes where each game mode doesn't really feel unique from each other, as common enemies and bosses do not feel like challenges. The only thing stopping you are higher numbers. Legendaries (unless you are lucky) are not readily accessible until mid-late game, where you can start affording to reroll them, or if you get lucky. This is assuming you can get there before the boredom sets in. A lot of people seems to hype up the variety of builds, but skill tree passives feels poorly designed and you are guaranteed to waste at l...
I REALLY want to like this game, but it's just too complicated for its own good. It could probably use a cut in the amount of crafting and grinding required to feel like you've done everything. Not to mention, The final boss is currently locked behind A LOT of grinding that I just do not want to do. The humor of it is cute at first, Then it just gets a little too meta to be enjoyable. I honestly think this is such a well made game, But I think it could use a few adjustments.
I initially enjoyed it, but it gets too repetitive and the further you go the more it drags.
Extremely fun game must play for people that like action RPG's and loot loads of loot!
