Basically this was just a cash grab port of the mobile versions of the game. Nothing feels like it was designed to work with PC. Hell you can't even play this in a window. It's full screen or bust. Also this version doesn't get any of the updates the mobile versions has been getting. Gameplay wise, it's a really clunky interface to select one car to go through vs a full on green light. You can accidentally click too fast and let a car go through when you wanted to it to stop. There's also this weird thing where sometimes an extra car will squeeze through one of the lights even though you only wanted one to go through. The game also doesn't have any achievements. So not even worth the sale price of $2.49 to pick up some quick achievements. I hope the author updates this version with some support for some PC quality of life improvements. But considering I left a post in the forum over a month and a half ago and there's been nary a peep. I wouldn't hold my breath. Save your money.

About This Game
The highway is a place where chaos, stress and rage are always present, mainly in big cities like Paris, Tokyo, Istanbul or Las Vegas. Aware of this, you must control the traffic light to keep the drivers safe and maintain peace.
Start fighting chaos all over the world!
Features:
Simple rules: Click the traffic light on the right time to change its color and manage the highway. It works just as a normal traffic light with green, yellow and red colors.
Minimalist: You will find cars, a bus or a van in almost every city. There are cities featuring a truck, a train and even a plane. Your job? Make sure they don’t crash.
Calming: Traffix will not force you to think too hard. Each new city will amaze your senses and help you to relax.
Tricky levels: The visual features of Traffix are very simple and minimalist, but some cities can turn very tricky! The slightest distraction can cause a big crash.
Everybody hates traffic. Even when it is minimalist, like on Traffix.
Now there is a way to control chaos and spread some peace to the streets.
On Traffix you are the highway manager. Each city will deliver a different dose of stress and chaos. By clicking on the traffic lights on the right time, you can control the flow and avoid raging drivers.
It’s very important that you do not make drivers wait or they will get mad.
On the other side, do not rush or they will crash!
You have to wait for the right time to click on the traffic lights and guide the cars to their destination.
The lights are red by default. Wait for the right time to turn the yellow light on and let one car go. When the road is empty, double click to activate the green traffic light!
You will quickly understand how Traffix works, thanks to the minimalist and evocative elements.
The rules are simple:
Red: All the vehicles will stop. The red traffic light will get everybody angry after a while.
Yellow: It will allow one car to pass. After that, becomes automatically red. The yellow traffic light is the safest play.
Green: Click twice to make the light turn green. This will open the traffic light and allow all the cars to advance. Most of the accidents occur within the green traffic light.
Chaos Mode:
There is a second game mode available. The Chaos Mode is just for pros and it will amaze you by its simplicity. As you understand by its name, it features extra stress and madness.
You need to guide the police cars to their destination safely. One crash and you lose.
Do you think you can complete all the cities? This is your time to prove it.
Play all over the world!
Traffix features the busiest cities in the world. Places where stress is rooted and peace is a distant mirage. As you progress, the highway will get more and more chaotic.
On that point, one of two things will happen: or you overcome the challenges or you become one of the raging drivers.
See you on the highway!

Really enjoyed this game until I realized that you can only play the current level... period. No going back to earlier levels if you get stuck on an upper level. Basically it is unplayable for me now because I can't beat the level I am on, and cannot go to next level or ANY earlier levels.
I love this game! It is easy to learn, but the later levels get tricky!! I was a big fan of the game Mini Metro. This game is quite similar. Great for transit-game lovers. I'm not good at writing reviews, I'm sorry, but I really like this game! I would love to see a Dark mode or Night mode added to change the white background to black.
Puzzle game / traffic management game that is all about manually controlling traffic at specific intersections, and allowing cars to go through once it is safe to do so. Relaxing and straightforward enough to play, with decent looking minimaistic colorful graphics. At times, multiple cars will go through even though you only intended for one to go. No proper Widescreen support is a major issue, as it cuts down a considerable amount of real estate at the top and bottom. Game would benefit from music in the proper maps, it only has a single repetitive track in the menu. No achievements or Steam cards is minor issue of note for game collectors in Steam. Overall, an ok game to kill some time in between things, but overpriced for the content it offers. 6/10
I hate this game
Elegant graphic design and simple, interesting gameplay mechanic. That said, I actually found the unforgiving timing management puzzles increasingly tense and stressful as the level difficulty ramped up -- so I enjoyed and appreciated the art, design, and mechanics, but wasn't actually having fun playing it (I play small casual puzzle games to wind down, not wind up). You can select levels. Several other reviews state that the tutorial is inaccessible or that previous levels are unplayable, but this is not true. It appears to be very awkwardly ported from touchscreen mobile, so the level selection screen doesn't have keyboard control (at all!). Instead, use your mouse scroll wheel (or two fingers on a laptop trackpad) to scroll through the level selections. You are welcome.
Fun and challenging enough, but those occasional times when two vehicles run through those yellow lights instead of just one is down right annoying. A few bugs, but a good casual game.
fun game.. had to turn the sound completely off tho.. the music is horrible n theres no way to just turn the music down
Concept of the game is great. Very fun to play despite being super simple. However hitboxes on changing traffic lights makes a few levels much harder then they need to be
good optimization puzzle, but with a critical flaw: sometimes two cars will go at once even if you only clicked once. A couple hours of gameplay in and I already feel like this bug is a good chunk of my restarts if I'm trying to 3 star a level. Overall fun, needs a volume slider
