Playtime: 6 Hours to Completion When I purchased this game, I was worried that it was going to be an unfunny mess of obnoxious reddit memes, or an extremely generic RPG Maker game where all the weapons are katanas, enemies are chads, powerups are doritos, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Neckbeardia is NOT that. I mean, yes, understand that this is literally a RPG Maker game called "Neckbeardia" for $5 - don't set your expectations too high, it reuses a lot of stock assets - but it's actually pretty funny. The dialogue is, for the most part, well-written, and I can tell that effort was put into it. It has charm. Honestly, this game is much more of an interactive story with some battle scenes than a RPG game. This could have very well been made as a short visual novel instead, but we know how saturated the "parody meme VN" scene on Steam is, so this is refreshing.

Oh my god. I cannot stress how much this changed my life. This game is the most interesting game I have or will ever play. Please play this.

Really enjoyable game! It is not a meme fest, but is an actual game with pretty good story and trully awesome characters i was laughing out loud in many moments! I just hope there was more content! Took me about 4 hours to finish, but I feel that it is well worth it, and hope that more content will come! Also it is an RPG maker game with some limitations, but I feel like it adds some oldschool charm to it because of that. Recomend to all fans of this theme!

A lot of fun, an RPG with a new take on it. It's a lot of fun and not something I'd normally play. Well worth the money!

a cute little rpg maker game, that's amusing and also plays it's plot fairly straight, which makes the humor stand out more. Worth a buck if you wanna kill a couple of hours

It's kind of like Nick Beard but longer and better. Enjoyed the humor for sure. Have attempted to complete this game several times but my IQ can only stay above 300 for so long before I succumb to fatigue.

Okay, so, hear me out. *tips fedora* This game might be a bit silly, maybe even a waste of time to a lot of people. But it's a solid rpg with jokes that are actually funny. Funny enough that I grinded to get every ability and every piece of gear just to get the most I could out of the game. I could have beaten it in 3-4 hours but.... forgive me master, I had to go all out, just this once. If the developer decided to add in some more game to play, other areas, maybe some balance tweaks here and there, I would unironically suggest this game to my friends, even though they would probably make fun of me. Good game.

I was expecting an hour worth of cheap humour, memes and lols but Neckbeardia is brilliant! The jokes, the plot, all the characters and events made me crack up multiple times this far. And beneath all this is pretty decent RPG-ish game with simple yet working mechanics and gameplay. Well done! I tip my fedora to M'Devs.
