Court of Ashes was a really good game, I enjoyed my first walktrhough very much ! Missions were really interesting, choices too ! My only concern is I don't see when we have a "council meeting", so I couldn't manage my actions perfectly on those time. But it isn't too punishing since the game itself isn't too hard, it's more about, letting ourself be taken into the story ! Also being not english native but still very used to play in english, this game was a bit hard to understand sometime but it's also a good thing since the language is perfectly fitted the diplomatic atmosphere in the game

Just finished my first play through and I can say that I enjoyed the experience. The characters are pleasant to interact with and I enjoy the general design of the game. Moreover, the artwork and design is pretty neat. The facial expression are one of my favorite aspects of the artwork, as well as the backgrounds. You can tell the game was made with love and care, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. I will likely replay it for other branching narratives. For the $8-$9 it's sold for, I'd say the price is equal to the content you get, if not better. If you like good narrative stories with world-building and a fair amount of strategy/resource management then I'd recommend this game. It kept me engaged and I liked most aspects of it. Though I would say the game could be improved by adding some more choices to make in the war room? Especially towards the end game where you're just visiting the other councilors to curry favor because all that's left is exchange options and no ...

My small amount of time have allow me to completed Court of Ashes twice, my first one took me two hours, while my second attempt was just to see the other advisors chatting, which took me about a hour. The game is quite enjoyable, and interesting from the art style to the characters you meet. I will admit that I thought I be worrying about being back-stabbed by the other advisors, however the game is more kinder and simple (not a bad thing). For it price, I do belive it is worth it. It is about two hours to three hours to completed depending on your reading speed. I had no game breaking bugs, just some issues with resolution, other than that it be smooth sailing. - I would do a pro and cons list but some of my pros and cons can be put in some slot.

What an enjoyable game! Honestly, I woud've felt good having paid for this....free was a great bargain for such a good game! I'm not normally a visual novel fan, but the small strategy and kingdom management elements really help keep it fresh throughout the gameplay. I also thought it was a nice touch to be able to replay the game from a different perspective, allowing you to explore other decisions and viewpoints to see how things change. The gameplay loop is short enough that this isn't too tedious either...which was a concern of mine when realizing I'd "have to" replay this so many times. This is probably one of the better free games on Steam, and the fact that it currently only has 35 reviews is a shame. If you are r

An enjoyable short story with a lot of replayability. Don't be deceived by its length, this is a game that deserves multiple runs as it allows you to not only experience the story from 5 different perspectives, but also to change the story by using the personality/ability of the different characters in new and interesting ways. If this game has even vaguely intrigued you from its description, then you should absolutely give it a try. Bonus points for having an awesome dev who responded quickly to a query I had on the steam discussion page!

A bug is blocking me just at the start of the game (when choosing the counillor to follow, I am unable to continue after choosing 1 of them and I cannot go back to choose another). It is like if the image is not fitting fulling in my screen and the continue button is not apparing. (I tried several resolutions + used the tab or any possible shortcuts). I will change my review if the bug is fixed.
