Difficulty seems broken. I'm losing the very first race by a large distance repeatedly. (I'm "good" at other videogames including racing games and "difficult" videogames.) Maybe I'm doing something wrong but then it reflects on the game if a player can fundamentally do something wrong but see no indication of it in the game.

Most ridiculously overtuned racing game I have ever played. Demands absolute perfection from race 1, baby class. One imperfection, youre done. No explanations or tutorials into quirks and mechanics.

This is one of those titles that it's easy to get into but hard to master, it may look like easy but since it's a very momentum based racer you have to apex and corner correctly or you'll get punished with loss of speed. It features qualifying events and pitstops throughout the longer races with quite a bit of different race classes to choose from. Great chill (or hardcore) title for the Steam Deck.

Super RC Pro Am for the Gameboy?! Anybody?! This gem here waited way to long in my library to be picked up. I read peoples complaints about the difficulty.. lol! It's just challenging! Also thats the fun, right?! You have different classes, even vehicletypes, mileage & tirewear means pitstops, qualifying, lots of trackveriety and some wrm-wrm. And 6 or 7 different difficulties.. from amateur to supercresmopro. Just use your breaks guys.. and fit your driving style to the different carlengths. It looks very simple, but it's still kinda serious mechanics here. I have no idea what to complain about so far, but I still have to check out the online function. Runs smooth on steamdeck. 1- for not having a banger soundtrack during races! edit: You do find matches online, in solo search. You also can create private lobbies with friends aso. There might be different reasons for it but there seem to be no real matchmaking on the other hand. I went unranked into matches with high level in my 3...

Its fun and some strategy comes in for the longer races with pit stop. it harkens back to old 16bit games but look crisp and plays better

Amazing top down racing game with ranking, different cars with different driving feels. Many different map races with different layout. Can play solo GP's, co-op, online and even couch play online or offline. Totally worth all the money ive spent on it on sale. Even more.

Surprising amount of fun and especially great to just pick up on a handheld. First car class in the career was a bit hard with AI handling the unstable car just fine but oh well. All amateur races after the first one are really easy and things become more rewarding with the higher levels. Yes the game could use some better balancing and the online experience is basically dead. But I discovered this game because iRacing studios is picking up the sequel and I'm happy that they are!

It's less arcadey than I expected from the camera and graphics. Expect to run qualification laps, brake, do curve lines, and keep your position in 5 lap races. Different vehicles require unlocking by gaining points in previous tournaments.
