If you ever played Q-Bert than you love this game, same concept but different levels some easy some very challenging all you use is your arrow keys to play this game. can you out wit the monsters as you pass each level or will you lose by going to fast - think before you jump - there is one bug I found sometimes it will double jump when you don't push a key - other than that I had a fun time playing it. worth the money and worth giving it a try. here is my gameplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tGPQ7nzGXk&feature=youtu.be

Fun and casual little action game! Depending on your skill there's about 2 hours of gameplay in this. Has a "puzzle" tag but aside from a minor puzzle element in a couple of levels this really isn't a puzzle game. Jump on voxels to change their color while avoiding enemies and spikey traps. Color the entire board to win the level. A game that requires you to think "on your feet". :) Easy 60 achievements as each completed level grants you 1 achievement.
Paint the whole level by visiting each tile
As other Nannings titles, Voxel Bot has a free version available on browser. Steam version has double the number of levels, with bigger ones in the mix but some repetitive aspects. Taking the idea from Hexa Path and taking it into its logical and casual finish line, Voxel Bot requires you to simply visit each tile of the level, without caring about order. It's hardly even a puzzle game, leaning more towards casual action. To make things more complicated, tiles may have timed spikes or have other simple mechanics like teleporters or forced movers. Additionally, there are two kinds of enemies that roam the levels on marked tiles. Usually they just move once every few seconds. But in a couple of levels they move when you do, and since they tend towards you, these are the most puzzle-like levels in the game.
Technical improvements
Graphics...
In Voxel Bot you play as a robot that needs to clear all cubes in the level. By jumping from cube to cube you change the color of the cubes and when all the cubes are purple you cleared the level. To make your goal harder there are enemies that you can’t touch or trying to catch you. To make it even more challenging there are spikes that strike when you are too long idle on a cube. The levels will get more complex progressing the game. New mechanics will be introduced like a green cube that will let you move further and a cube that can be solid or not solid by pressing a button. In this game, the player controls a cubicle robot, who starts each game on a grid of cubes and moves by hopping diagonally from cube to cube. Landing on a cube causes it to change color, and changing every cube to purple allows the player to progress to the next stage.
Nice take on the Q*Bert concept with relaxing atmosphere and good map variety to keep the concept fresh throughout the game. 60 levels that took me about 2 hours to complete, I enjoyed the game the entire time. I bought it on sale for less than 1€, I would easily pay over 10€ for the experience. Highly recommended if you like Q*Bert, but be prepared that the difficulty is very low, it's more of a relaxing experience than it is a challenging one.
this is a weird q*bert clone
The visuals and music in this game are really good but some might be put off by the Qbert-styled controls. To break them down: Up/W: used to ascend the level, not to move forward Down/S: used to descend the level, not for backing up Left/Right/A/D: still move you across the level in said directions but do so isometrically It takes some messing around with to get used to. That said, the level designs and play-thru are well worth the price.
If you like Q*bert Then you've come to the right place Wrong button? Again!
