Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery

Awesome aesthetics, fun to play, a nice little hidden object game. Highly recommend the Hidden Through Time series.

Despite being the latest entry in the series, this one was actually a disapointment. The campaign wasn't as well put together in terms of story, and a lot of the scenes were put together a little lazily, with plenty of spaces obscured by assets that should have been hidden when viewing interiors. The use of features developed in earlier entries in the series was poorly done, with things like the weather/time of day changes only being used on a handful of maps, and without an easy way to see the previously found objects or replay levels. With the same community creation tools, the game does still have potential - however being the newest in the series there is less quality content available than there is for other entries. The game does have some interesting unique assets compared to other entries, however unless you or your family specifically have an interest in crime thrillers, classic monsters or aliens, I'd recommend giving this a pass.
