About This Game

Highball is a simple rollerball adventure game with physics movement where you roll and jump your way across different levels while trying not to fall off into the abyss. Find dimensional gates to move to new areas, dodge obstacles, explore and pickup mementos and talk with strange characters. Collect mementos to remove obstacles and open up new pathways. Collect all the mementos to get a different game ending.

Highball features 8 unique areas, an NPC you can talk to or knock off a cliff in each area, and moving obstacles that instantly explode you on contact. The players rollerball character controls very smoothly making it enjoyable navigating the different areas and exploring, while also making the game fun to speedrun. Most areas contain more than one possible paths to other areas, go for speed there are many different combinations and game paths to take to try and get a better endgame time.

High - having a great or considerable extent or reach upward or vertically; lofty; tall: Ball - a round or roundish body, of various sizes and materials, either hollow or solid, for use in games, as baseball, football, tennis, or golf. Separate, these disparate concepts have no greater meaning, no gravitas. But together, oh together they bring order to thoughts, meaning to the world. Like the yin & yang, salt & pepper; High and Ball join together to make two sides of one perfect coin. 3/10

I apologise if this review is a bit harsh, but... I only really played this game because my gut keep telling me to for idk what reason. Bad move going along with it. This game is freaking awful imo. VERY clunky controls (even worse with controller), which makes it frustrating as all hell to play, mixed with really generic (the bad kinda generic) level design. No offense, but I genuinely feel robbed here. This feels more like a free game if anything. Gonna be asking for a refund.
