If you love model railroading then you will love LOCO. It is very early in development but has great potential. Great art style and alot of attention to physics such as momentum and inertia. I eagerly await future additions and updates and plan to follow this until full release and beyond!

Update 7 May 2022 The game hasn't had an update for over a year and if you are considering purchasing it you should take this into consideration. The game did receive some updates since my review some of which can be seen in this later video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVGTgqz1czw&t=2102s The game is unfinished though and at present looks to remain so. It has multiple issues that were never addressed and may never be some of which make it hard to play. The track is terrible and the addition of hills into the game make it ever more difficult to lay sometimes making it impossible where the track is being lay'ed. There are no passenger carriages it should also be noted. But the final update was the worst making removing objects near impossible and this was what finally turned my review from a thumbs up to a thumbs down. The core of the game... the idea was good but the implementation just didn't ever get to where it needed to be. I have reviews for various train games and if you ...
Bought this game Aug 19 2021 This game should NOT have been released in it's present form! Early access is one thing but this thing is so incomplete that it is mind boggling. This game was released Sept 2019 and this is all they have to show? Returned game.
At 61 I have not played computer games before now. I watched a you tube review of Loco railroad by Bluewizard and just loved the look of it from the get go. Great detail and was focused on GWR. branch lines. Bought it straight away but couldn't get anything to work on a laptop, so my son has built me a reasonable computer with decent graphics card and I was off. Found out pretty quick that a lot of the fun is pressing everything to find out how it works. Now I realize that Loco is still very much in development, and recent updates have stopped it working all together (as reported by BlueWizard) but I want to stick with it as I just love the look and feel of it. In the mean time I have downloaded Trainz Railroad Simulator with the Cornish and Edinburgh add ons and wow; so much to learn, so many options. Making a complete mess of it so far so going to work my through the tutorials-great fun! But despite that I really want Loco to work and so looking forward to water and dock options as ...
This title is VERY early access. Know that going into it, or simple wait if you don't understand what that means! It's a concept with a working prototype. I was uncertain about spending $20.00 on something of this nature, but my love of model trains and some of the pretty screen shots got me to give in and take the leap! My first impression was disappointment. As I dug around a little and even spoke to a nice you-tuber, I realized I was missing out on some functions. They are mentioned in the game, and I can't find a manual, but they will be essential to a new user. CAMERA: Use 1-0 to change camera view. Once you load the game and press #1 or #2, you'll see what I mean! Second, If you are like me, you 'assume' that you lock track sections together. You don't!!! You place a track, leave a large space, space another track, then click one WHITE sphere and the other White Sphere to connect the sections. Again, nothing to tell you that, or certainly not clearly. Next...
Has so much potential!!! Devs are quiet to post about updates but the game has improved 10 fold in just a year
Lots of potential. Additional throttle control from keyboard would be nice. Maybe a brake too. Camera control needs work. I spotted the cattle cars at the live stock platform then picked up all the cars and started to drill them in the yard. Both times I derailed on the ladder. Switch control were the problem. All and all I like where this is going.
Absolute con and deceit. Scum like these need to be prosecuted.
The software looks fantastic but is hell on Earth to use. To delete anything you have to press the LMB keys with one hand, (your other hand is on the mouse) Before spending good money, just try pressing those three keys with one hand. Come on guys, you can do better than that, the ' D ' key looks fantastic to me !
