Okay, well, this is yet another case of "I wish there was a neutral rating", but in the interest of public knowledge I rate it anyway. First, as much as I have reasons for wanting to give it a thumbs down, I have to concede that there is some genuinely good work in this. The artistic take, the sound, models, etc. all work well together. But before you read that and see that they WERE open and honest about this being a "short" experience I have to say they MEAN it. For what good art and sound work there was, you don't get to spend enough time with it to even really take it all in. It's also not even the kind of content that is at least tantalizing good as a lead-in for something to come. It simply is what it is. Period. So the brutal truth - As short as you think it's going to be based on what you read in their description, take that, chop it in half and you might be in the ball park. As far as I can tell, it also has ZERO alternative experiences/paths. Once you've seen it you might a...

Ummm... maybe a dollar was a little much for this? It ended and I was seriously wondering, "Is that it?" It is like a highschool 3d project they put on VR. Here is the real issue.. the title. It says, "Face your demons". The problem is, there is only 1 demon.
How do I describe this game. I bought it off a whim after reading some reviews on the game. I should have listened to the reviews. I'm not saying I dislike this game, but I won't say I enjoyed it though. My on record time spent playing this game consists of 2 whole playthroughs. The game is incredibly short, enough time for one of your friends to go take a piss and come back to it being finished. The only time I would recommend this game is if the person playing has never played VR, or has not experienced a lot of horror VR games. This game is offensively average. If it weren't for the price tag I would have not recommended this game, but because of how cheap it is and the decent graphics, I'd say go for it if you want to play a very short horror experience.
Experienced on the Samsung Odyssey, Windows Mixed Reality
You can watch my gameplay & initial impressions review here: https://youtu.be/MbWoKePjrB0 This is a very short, about 3 minute purely 360 3D cinematic experience. There are no interactions whatsoever. Gaze-based navigation at the menu. This is a low-budget indie artsy experience. Honestly, not much happens. You're inside a church. It's dark and damp with a burning bush where you'll face a demon. It says something. There's a jump scare. Whole thing is over in about 3 minutes. Is that worth .99 cents? I'm not sure really. It's not really high-quality enough. It may be interesting to some though. I don't know, maybe you can scare grandma with it. Rate 5/10. I think Satan would be disappointed with this though.
This was the best buck I ever spent: if only for watching my friends react to this quick and tense jump-scare. It is artistically well composed - which is rare for these types of experiences - and kudos to the developer: way to go, looking forward to the next - perhaps longer - creation!
Atrocious value for money. A 3 minute non-interactive trailer. Rubbish. Avoid.
Face your Demons is a quick experience that I recommend to people having their first VR experiences, especially while having friends at home that would like to try your HTC. I did it and the party became a sort of competition of "who's gonna jump better", someone even took off their VR before the end XD Is a well done work, you can tell the developer took care of every design and details and put a piece of his own heart in it.
The worst game/expirience i've ever seen!
wow for a game that was just a devil with a strobe light and screams. Very dull VERY BORING I did not jump I was just ripped off a buck fifty. Don't waste your money. REFUND TIME..
