About the Game
We present you the beginning of adventures of a fearless scientist and explorer in a mysterious Misty World. Story of Blood Magic, teleportation through mirrors and unbelievable creatures that hide in the mist.In this half-hour story in a small part of the world we are building, you will try some game mechanics and meet some creatures populating Forest zone. Prepare to live through series of unfortunate events that triggered a dangerous journey of Mr. Conway through Misty World.
You will find yourself amid one of the biomes that could be met in the world we are working on. This dark savage forest is full of dangerous creatures. Such tree zones became a home of giant spiders that are much more intelligent than those from our world are.
These arachnids have their own society and control all the area around. Using holes in the ground, they move fast and free across uncharted lands. Their jumping ability makes them scary and unpredictable enemies.
Thank to Conway's bright intelligent, he managed to find a way to keep them at a distance — special light from lamp stands scares off the beasts and creates safe paths.

Story

The second half of the XX century. After months of successful researches and expeditions, William Conway is ready to share with the scientific world not only the fascinating Teleportation technology he discovered but also a completely new world this invention leads to.
With his loyal companions, William prepared a safe area amid the vast alien lands. Now he needs to check everything one last time, and write a good speech. This place may not be perfect: everything creaks, sparkles, and there’s no hot water, but how could such a thing stop a true pioneer?
This new world keeps its secrets under layers of different mist, full of unknown creatures and mysteries to solve.
Giving a last look from the observation deck, Conway could not expect what a journey that lies ahead. Having his blood once shared with this world, William starts an ancient ritual. Your blood has power here, but Blood Magic always attracts creatures even more dangerous than local monsters — you have to finish what you started until it is too late, there is no other way... Is it?
Differences from the previous free version we launched on Primal Ritual page (not available anymore):
- Brought back all interactions with the objects — switches, buttons, turning levers.
- You can keep playing after the chapter ends — you will not be able to progress (only in the upcoming big game) but you can explore the Forest.
- Updated control scheme, added controller-directed free locomotion. UI and Tips updated.
- Papers from The Majordomo’s Diary to learn more about the world and story.
- Achievements! Explore the area and collect them all.
- Support DLCs with sweet bonuses to help us stay afloat while preparing Primal Ritual launch.
- Movement optimization, lots of bug fixes and narrative improvements.

This game is way too short. You literally walk up a hill and turn something on. That's it. The music is also choppy, it's on an infinite loop but the beginning doesn't fit with the end. I found the graphics of their previous 2 games to be better. For $2 I guess it's ok, but it's basically a demo. I also much prefer the static/teleport of the last 2 Nevrosa games over the open world/free movement they're going for now.
Big love Nevrosa games! Good luck for the devs!
Short game. Good graphics and sounds. Want to check the next part when they let us check the other places. Hope you are building a big world guys!
I recommend buying this to support the DEVs, because of the immersive environments, and for the thrill of fighting spiders. If you have a fear of spiders this will be a horror game, otherwise a short, enjoyable visit to another world where giant spiders rule. You can shoot the spiders before they jump, or grab them when they are biting your head. The graphics are great, the music is somewhat annoying, and there is no voice acting (which is the worst part of the game). My opinion is either have professional voice acting or none at all, so they made the right call to have none if they couldn't afford to do it right. However, a game is always much better with professional actors. The dialogue and narration is done in text on pieces of paper. They should be able to be picked up. I don't like having to bend over and try to read text a few feet away from my headset.
Took with DLCs to support the devs. Interesting health = ammo mechanics hope you make healing pills or something in the future.
Nice dark atmospheric puzzle action short demo. Waiting for full version. I don't get motion sick thanks to blink teleport option. Smooth loco option too there.
This is just first 20 minutes of Nevrosa: Primal Ritual, that includes pretty good cinematics, uninspired 'puzzle' and boring combat. Pros: + Gunshot sounds and weapon feedback is quite satisfying + The lift scene looks really good. Who doesn't like building-size monsters in VR?) Overall world design is interesting and unique + The music is really good and it fits the atmosphere perfectly Cons: - Shooting spiders with the blood magic pistol was the weakest part of Nevrosa: Escape. And here it takes about 40% of the whole experience. Enemies are animated poorly and fighting them is extremely easy and boring - The only 'puzzle' included in this teaser is awful: it's simple step-by-step instruction following - Item handling is a bit off, opening a simple box or pulling a lever can take few tries - Grass and spiders look weird near the edges when there is a fog in the background(which is almost all the time)
So new Nevrosa game and new gameplay - now we have a free locomotion to explore the world around. It's more a demo than a full game, definetly will check the final product.
The entering scene before you get to the spider forest is awesome! Felt strong “Uncharted” vibes during that sequence. The further experience is quite interesting and makes you want more. Looks like the devs wanted this game to become as popular as Prelude was for Escape. OK, let’s see where it goes.
