I've never reviewed a game. But I need to comment this one, such was the impact it had on me. The management aspect is potentially OK, although the interface is not the best. But the game simulation is not only buggy. Its unfinished: players do random actions, totally unrelated with the game state, the ball has a behavior that has nothing to do with physics or whatsoever. It's totally unplayeable. I was never so upset with a game, and their lazy and desrespectful developers and publishers for publishing a game in such a state.

2 Hour Review: I love this game. Its no FM20 but its $9 and the administration of a football team is made very fun here with really nice menus. I wish there was a reminder/calendar page or an inbox for notifications like scheduling friendlies and operations because I missed those a few times early on. Being a day behind on a 5 day operation to earn 2 house points puts you out of the storyline in the introduction phase. The gameplay engine for low level teams is crazy bad. I did play a friendly against a level 16 team as a level 2 team and the AI looked much better with accurate passes and shots, leading to a 11-0 a** kicking of my upstart football team. That gives me hope that the grind on training will make the gameplay more exciting as you watch your decisions to play out. I've yet to reach the 5v5 leagues and will update once I've reached more. Probably the most interesting aspect to me tho is the depth put into the facilities upgrades. Once you unlock it, you have full customiza...
The game is fun, i really enjoyed the experience. Not too much deph, but in the end deserves the money. The support was olso quick in response.
Game is in bad state right now. Once you advance in ranks a bit your players will start to ask for insane salary increase and only way to survive is to kick all your team and get new players. You can`t buy players better then 9 and training takes forever. Game gets boring very fast -_- zzzZZZ
There's a fun gameplay loop of improving your players and competing in tournaments, but that loop can get repetitive. There's also not much to do in matches either, just click on 1 of like 5 formations are use your coach power ups at certain times. The best way to describe it is Football Manager lite. If you want a casual version of those games, give it a shot
Avoid this game. Not one thing you do matters in it. The developer has a history of doing cash grab games (Gladiator School, Boxing School) and then either never fixing them or doing an update on previous games before his next cash grab comes out. Also, people are saying that there is a game breaking bug which prevents them from advancing. The developer claims to have fixed it (last year) but people are reporting the bug is still persistent. I bought this game for 1 dollar, but it's not worth it.
Awful. The management portion is neat with a huge number of upgrades available for your team. The interface.. it isn't clunky exactly.. there just aren't any helpful shortcuts. Everything is run through the club menu. If you open the wrong submenu, or are done checking something and want to check something else, there's no 'back' to the main menu. You close the menu entirely and then re-open it to the main. Is it a big thing? No. Is it annoying to have to do it every time you look at a sub-menu... yeah. My biggest complaint is the complete randomness of your players on the field. They'll kick the ball completely perpendicular to downfield... or the defender you assigned goalkeeper perks for will suddenly rush from your net to past the centerline where the ball is, then stop short of the ball and stand there. It's so random, that the management portion stops mattering. You're not managing a soccer team. Your job is just to improve the stadium and club while staying out of debt. ...
If it's above 70% off and you want a casual football manager, take it. I bought it for 90 cents and I was happy. This is however very grindy. About 80% of my hours was just speeding up the game to get the skills high enough to challenge for titles.
This is a fun game, surprised me. There are a lot of different football type management games and each has their own take. Some are good and some are awful. This is a good one, I think it is worth the price. It is not FM, but it is charming and addictive enough to grind out a team.
There might be a good game hidden in there somewhere, but I have to honestly say I am unable to find it. It is obvious that you need to create some momentum to get ahead of salary costs, training requirements, etc. but the game gives little to no feedback on how to adress formations. This coupled with a complete randomness to games, where it just always seems scewed against you this becomes a VERY frustrating experience, where you do not understand why you are losing, OR how to fix it! The game might pick up after a while, becoming more fun, but I found it to be a lot more frustrating than fun.
