About the Game

jwing - the next puzzle game

Drop weighted coloured balls onto scales, matching three or more balls horizontally in order to score points. But be careful, as the scales adjust to the weight on them, they can tip changing the field to your advantage, detriment or worse - a game over : when the piles of balls become too high they collapse, ending the game.

jwing 1.2 includes

jwing couch multiplayer.
New in 1.2, battle against a friend or family member in couch multiplayer mode.

jwing puzzle.
New in 1.1, in puzzle mode the aim is to clear the balls on and above the line to progress to the next level.

jwing original.
The original jwing experience. Match three or more balls to gain points and chase the high score in a marathon mode.

unlockable features
Earn in game money in jwing original and puzzle game play which can be used to unlock new ball types to help you achieve a higher score and level.

jwing is a weighted match 3 drop game where ball drops are weighted and are only as effective as the column modified weight after the drop. Given the relationships between the columns there are enormous strategic possibilities. The interface is very basic and the presentation could use some work though the core game is brilliant. The cherry on the cake is a Split Screen PVP mode but sadly you can't play online. Steam integration is nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately leader boards for solo and PVP are a no brainer but not present. Perhaps the developer can expand the package in the future. jwing, a well thought out drop down puzzler with the added attribute of weight.

I wish this had a tutorial for new players but once you get the hang of it its a good game. Its basically like Tetris but a bit more complicated.
