Orc Colony is a side-view city building / management game with the potential for a more complex combat element later on. As of right now, it's actually quite entertaining and well put together. But there's no tutorial and limited information, some of which I consider vital information. Your first few bases will be failures until you work out the mechanics. But once you got it down, you'll make something momma orc would be proud of. Is it worth playing in Early Access? You will get enough out of it to make it worth the price. I've had a lot of fun with it. And it would be an investment. A lot of potential is stored here!

About This Game
It is up to you to dig deep underground and build rooms to attract new orcs. Don't forget to provide your orcs with food, a place to eat and beds for them to sleep in or they will be angry and just leave the colony.
You will also need to plan where to mine ores for crowns (silver, gold, emerald) or for weapons and armor (copper, iron, mithril).
You can also attract Orc Champions to raid nearby human or even orc settlements. It is better to send your champions with the best armor and weapons you have which will greatly increase the chance of success.
Remember do not raid too fast and too far or the Human King or even the Orc King will send their own soldiers to your colony!
Key Features:
- 15 Rooms you can build and upgrade for more efficiency
- Build Elevators to connect the different levels of your colony
- Form raiding parties that consists of Orc Champions to send to raid nearby human or orc settlements
- Orcs will get hungry and sleepy and will search for the nearest bedroom or dining room

I'm pretty sure it's been abandoned.
Actually, I quite like the game. It's a good way to drift a few hours away, and the production chain is interesting enough for a few games. Still, there are definite issues. The distribution system definitely needs work, since with larger bases your minions go all over the place to collect and deliver. A few ways to limit areas of control would be extremely helpful beyond the rather limited aspect of just assigning particular goods. There is something though that just ruins the game for me and it's the raiding. You raid, which is fine, but regardless of the outcome you lose all your weapons. That's expensive, especially with Mithral, which is supposedly unbreakable and yet, they're all lost. For rather minor gains, since it's just a rinse and repeat thing. The rewards for raiding are tiny, and the raids by the various kings against you can cripple you. Especially when you've just used all your better weapons on the previous raid five days previously. Nah... It needs to be tweaked and...
nearly 2 year still no updates still vr0.31
Unplayable midgame/endgame. By the time you get a large enough colony to start raids 10-15, the game starts lagging awfully (it's single threaded, so it takes up 100% of one of my cores on an 8th gen i7) - there seems to be some threshold it passes, before which you get a smooth enough framerate and after which you pin at 1 FPS, or slower. Saving and loading the game, even with rebooting, makes the problem worse each time. At that point it becomes very tedious to continue, because you can no longer build additional builders or goblins to speed up the game (each one you build just makes the game slower) There's no point creating additional mines/smelters/smiths, because the number of goblins is the bottleneck on making them productive. There's no point growing extra food for the same reason. Which means you just have to sit on what you have and grind from there to the end of the game for champions. If you manage to conquer the capital cities, the game does not reward you. If you ...
Abandoned back in 2019, not fixing bugs, and still putt it up for sale Refunded the game.
Rubbish, unfinished, there are missions that regardless if you accept or reject they game deducts cash from you and ends chance of success in your game.
It's broken. The workers stop functioning for no reason. For a resource focused game the production of resources needs to work.
Boring.
This is a super fun top down sim game. I had really fun playing it. There is no tutorial that was offered when signing in, so you have to learn as you go. Still learning myself. I totally recommend this game, it has a fresh take on the sim world. A+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRtnIp5uuUg
