Beat this on steam deck and it ran great with decent battery life, it falls short to 3 of course but it has great replayability and I enjoy the different story aspect as you do not play as Spark in this game.

So, this is an odd game. The gameplay is moderately fun, if you like 3D Sonic, you'll like this. While the first game was a mix of Kirby and Sonic, this was mostly just Sonic, the powerups were basically just for the bosses. As for the story, I have no clue. Somehow Freom returned after literally dying in the first game with no explanation, he goes [spoiler] "I am your father" [/spoiler] on Fark, and then leaves to blow up the Earth (No no it's different from the first one because of Clarity). Speaking of Clarity, what the heck was that about? It made no sense and had 0 relevance. Sadly, you can't just NOT play this game, due to it's nature as the middle game.
