The most iconic addition to this entry in the series is the inclusion of character specific “Overkill Moves”, which can be used to finish off an opponent with style. This version features the uncensored graphics and effects from the original MVS version.

The game features a robust cast of 28 characters, including previous boss characters in the series such as Gaoh, Amakusa, Mizuki, and Zakuro. Plenty of fan favorites in the series see their return as well!

Controls are a mess, if you try to customise the button layout (which are linked to the menu controls as well for some reason). This can sometimes put you into soft lock situations, even if you try to play local it's almost like they straight took the arcade version software and dropped it on steam. Because after you're done the match, you go back to playing against the computer, and the other controller just suddenly stops working.. As if the game expects you to put in another quarter like it thinks it's still an arcade cabinet. Stay away at all costs!!

Pretty good, probably one of my favourites in the samurai shodown series. The gameplay in this game is pretty similiar to the others but i think they got new movesets in this one and new characters too, recommend it.
