Experienced on the Oculus Rift
Please note: on the Oculus Rift, you have to do a Windows 7 compatibility fix to get this game to run correctly. Do not buy this game if you don't know how to do a Windows 7 fix You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/uRCXwwrW618 The Maze VR is a series of mini-games, some of which are stupidly simple escape rooms. The rest are almost just as stupidly simple. I don't think I played one mini-game that I enjoyed. Keep in mind, I only played single-player so I cannot comment on the multiplayer or play with friends modes. This game is running on the Unity Engine. The graphics are dated with muddy textures and poor lighting. The interactions are clunky, making the mini-games not very fun. The first mini-game is always the same, an escape room that's in the Oval Office (White House) and you just enter a code that you find by singing a letter that's on the desk that's very plain to see. There's one mini-game where you're on an...

The core idea is okay, but as of now (see post date of this review), there are a bunch of issues: * Ingame navigation is not intuitive. There were certain instances where I kind of knew how to navigate, but not really. A friend of mine had issues because he could not navigate a level at all using his oculus controllers. * Ingame voice in multiplayer cut out at some point, so I could not hear my friend, but he could hear me. I still think that there's a bunch of potential in the core concept of this game, so if you're willing to give it a try and deal with issues, it's probably okay for the current price. Otherwise, I suggest to wait until this game finishes its early access phase.

I love this game! I'm pretty impressed by this games current status. I'm looking for content like this, it use your space pretty well and will work on most spaces I believe. I was able to play a portion of "Duck Funt" ;) and I even played single player and experienced a different path which gave me different experiences. It reminds me of something like those books that have multiple endings. For what you get here it's worth the cover charge. It's multiplayer having aspects where you can have friends join in together to experience together. I think everyone with a VR headset should buy this game. I don't just give money away either and I'm willing to pay about 4.99$ for this game pretty easily. There is more content here than even a few trips to your local social club that's for sure so buy this. I felt like Lawnmower man a few times :D

Started game up, it was extremely loud. Tried to find a menu to turn the game volume down, there was none. When I tried to play with a friend, I accidentally chose "Host Game" instead of join, and found there was no way back to the main menu that I could find, had to close the game and restart to get to the menu again. Once actually in the game it was alright, but nothing special. It was very obscure what to do half the time, no indication of what objects are interactable and which are not. The area in which your hands have to be with an object to interact with it is extremely small. The ropes you climb were very inconsistent to grab because of it. Once you get into the main room it gets a little better, though the last room is really obscure and cluttered to the point that it's distracting and we spent over 10 minutes before we happened onto the mechanic the game was trying to have us perform. There was also a lack of rotation options, snap rotation is something that should really b...
