About This Game
Experience distinctly new and thrilling first person gameplay as you survive, hunt and prey in the deadly jungles and swamps surrounding the damned colony of Freya's Prospect.
- As the Marine, you'll experience a claustrophobic and terrifying experience where light is your friend, but there's never enough. However, the United States Marine Corps are humanity's last line of defense, and as such they are armed to the teeth with the very latest in high explosive and automatic weaponry.
- As the Predator, you will stalk from the shadows and from above, passing athletically through the treetops to ambush your victims. Although equipped with an array of powerful, exotic weapons and tracking equipment, honor ultimately dictates that you must get in close and take your trophies face to face.
- As the most deadly species in the universe, the Alien offers you the chance to play as the very stuff of nightmares - the monster in the dark swarming forward with countless others, jaws like a steel trap and claws like blades.
- Play all sides off against each other in a series of unique 3-way online modes and go tooth-to-claw-to-pulse rifle in the reinvention of one of multiplayer gaming's defining moments.

This is game is a such an underrated gem, so that I don't even know where to start this review. I'm millennial and I know all these movies about Aliens and Predators since my childhood. I didn't play original AvP game by Rebellion because I got my first home PC only in the early 2000s when there was already AvP 2 from Monolith Studios (F) and I still actually remember how cool that game was. I also remember how I learned about this soft-reboot to be released by the makers of the original AvP and how I was hyped about it. But then for some weird reason this game had some mixed reviews upon launch. I played it myself and coudln't understand why. I personally think that this is a very solid title and it had plenty of content for its time. All three campaigns had very different gameplay, and even that they all were played on the same levels, the atmosphere and the work with the setting were just astonishing! Not to mention that it's just super cool to be able to play for xenomorph, Yautja ...
Alien: If you want to have fun. Marine: If you want to be immersed. Predator: If you want to win.
Playing Aliens vs. Predator in 2025 is a thrilling throwback to classic sci-fi shooters. The game shines with its atmospheric lighting and level design, where every environment, from cramped corridors to alien-infested jungles, perfectly captures the eerie and suspenseful tone of the franchise. The three distinct campaigns for Marines, Predators, and Aliens offer varied gameplay experiences that intertwine into a cohesive narrative. The atmospheric sound design, creature effects, and overall fidelity to the Alien vs. Predator universe make it an immersive experience that still holds up well today. HOWEVER... The multiplayer is currently non-functional. Because of this, the community has stepped in, creating private lobbies and helping others unlock online achievements. Without their assistance, completing 100% of the game's achievements in 2025 is nearly impossible, and it was truly a headache to accomplish.
If you get lucky and the game doesnt crash then its crazy fun, personally I enjoy playing the xeno's
Very good for an old school game, Def needs a remaster
The Marine campaign starts off somewhat promisingly, but fizzles out at the end. Didn't bother with the other campaigns. Like the AvP movies, it's not the worst thing you'll ever experience, but it's not particularly good either.
quite entertaining, no matter which campaign you choose. my favorite's the Xenomorphs.
The games perfect, Play it
This game is still awesome even in 2025. I wish the Marine mission had a better final boss and the story was longer but still worth the time. Fingers crossed we get another AVP game soon.
