Peaceful puzzle game with beautiful scenery art. I've played roki about 4 times now; first time being on the switch. I later played it again on my laptop and now finally steam, attempting to get all the achievements. I loved Roki's story and the soundtrack fit perfectly for an emotional yet ethereal game.

The art is super fun and honestly pretty. I love that the movements of Tove and Lars aren't 100%, very much like children who are learning how to move their bodies. This is heartbreaking, but heartwarming.

This game is honestly amazing and worth playing! However, there’s one small issue that might confuse new players. At first, I couldn’t move the character at all, and I thought it was a game-breaking bug. After some trial and error, I discovered that the solution is very simple: change your PC region to US or UK, and the problem will be fixed immediately. I noticed some negative reviews because of this issue, so I just wanted to share the fix. Don’t give up on the game — it’s really good once you get past that small setup step!

Röki was a game that I'm glad I got to experience. While on the surface Röki is a simple cozy styled puzzle adventure, it's folklorish atmospheres and -of course- it's characters made it just a bit more. I loved interacting with the different creatures of the forest and really getting a feel for all the magic happenings in the woods, it really did bring out a part of me that I forgot yearned for these kind of stories. I won't say the story is perfect or that it's the most emotional game, but it definitely had both sombre and heartwarming moments. To talk about actual game play, the puzzles -for the most part- were relatively straight forward, most of the time a tool served a pretty obvious purpose, though I'll admit as there were times I needed a hint or two from a walk through (though I'm not the most dedicated/patient puzzle player). My only real qualm about the game is the inability to chapter select, or manually create saves to go back and fulfil achievements - but besides that ...

Fun game. A little like "Poptropica", "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons", or "King's Quest". Pros: good sound design, clever puzzles, beautiful world, immersive fast travel, ingame notes of places just in case you forgot clues and stuff. there is also a button that highlights interactable items, so you don't need to sniff every last corner JUUUST in case you missed something. Cons: some cut scenes are OBSCENELY long. All dialogue is non-skippable, even if you have already listened to it. Going to have to play again to get all achievements. Overall, definitly worth it on sale if you like a 3D side scroller with a item based puzzle system.

just completed the game and 100% achievement it, pretty short game since i can 100% in just 14 hours, but still a great 14 hours, feel like a interactive book, not much hard puzzles but still fun to play, the only thing is that if you want to 100% the game, you have to unlock all achievement at one playthrough.
