About This Game

Linklight is a relaxing minimalist puzzle game in which you satisfyingly rotate objects to form elegant branching connections to power lightbulbs. With Linklight, you can take a break from the world around you; immersing yourself in the ambience while you rack your brain. Though it may be simple on the surface, Linklight can offer immense challenges to those who seek them; precision will be needed as you navigate your way through endless labyrinthine puzzles.

In Linklight you are greeted with a colorful tranquil space in disarray. One after the other, you rotate objects, form elaborate connections, and avoid obstacles; forging your path to bring power to all of the scattered lightbulbs throughout the level. A level is only complete once all of its lightbulbs have been correctly powered.

As you progress through the game you will be presented with new chapters, new challenges, and new objects; forcing you to think and adapt to whatever challenges you are faced with.

Early Access:

  • 75 handcrafted logic-based puzzles, featuring multiple solutions.
  • An infinite number of customizable procedurally generated puzzles! (Released & Receiving Incremental Updates)
  • Progression; traverse through various sets of levels, all of which bring their own dreamlike design and unique challenges.
  • Serene ambience; soothing ambient music tracks and sound effects.
  • Particles!

Linklight was developed by two college students, Daniel and Michael, from New York City. Together we founded Highrise Software with the goal of developing original and enjoyable indie games.

I’ve never seen a puzzle game in early access before, but I decided to try it out. Runs well on my older PC, no loading screens or wait times besides when you first boot up the game. Options menu allows for a lot of changes, I always like seeing a good options menu in a game. After playing through the first three level sets, I definitely recommend the game to anyone who likes puzzles. All of the level sets have their own little theme and challenges, and are all broken up really nicely by all the different colors. Although the game starts off easy, the later levels really make you sit down and think, and make you examine the paths you’re taking. I love the music and sounds too, they really help to keep you relaxed and focused. It’s a really simple concept but it gets quite complex especially in the third and fourth level sets, when I finish the game I will update my review with the rest of the sets. I definitely recommended to anyone who enjoys puzzles, or if you like games th...

This game is fun, only having put like 4 hours into it, I had fun doing each level I have so far, but honestly I have terrible skill son games like this just because of my own bad focus. I think I've spent at least an hour so far on the level I'm at right now just because I can't figure out the path to follow the current. Alas, for the time being I gotta find someone else to help me get past it. xD Overall though, that has no bearing on the game itself review wise. This game delivers on everything and more, and it's still only early access. I am really looking forward to see how far this game goes and how many new and different puzzles this game will get. I will get past this level at some point somehow. the music is relaxing enough it's to get really frustrated at anything even being stuck. I highly recommend getting this game if you enjoy puzzles and brain teasers. This is a great game for that it's also good to help get you going yourself and get your brain thinking. A+ on this, can...

I Played through the first three level sets and part of number four as of writing this review. Linklight is a simple puzzle game where you redirect power, turn objects, and power lightbulbs. It looks really simple at first in the first level set, but it starts to get really complex. Especially when the batteries and lightbulbs become rotatable, and when there’s a lot of lightbulbs that need to be powered. I find puzzle games enjoyable but most of them can be completed in an hour or two- a testament to this game is the amount of time I have taken to complete some of the levels so far. I believe for me it will take some time to complete the game fully. The game is divided into sets of levels, all of which have their own themes and color design. It feels as if you’re on a journey as you progress through the game. I really love the dynamic sounds for the objects in the game and the music, it’s pretty satisfying when the interactive objects make little melodies. The overall sound ...

I usually don't like puzzle games but I actually have enjoyed this one so far. The puzzles are more calming than frustrating, which is something that I haven't seen before. I plan on playing more and updating this review but I would recommend checking this game out.

Although this might seem like a simple puzzle game, it's minimalistic, clean art style and satisfying sound design make it a masterpiece. Never really gone out of my way to play any particular puzzle game, but this is one I would keep coming back to. The levels in the demo starts out easy; teaching you the basics but eventually gets harder the further you get into the levels. The levels towards the end are actually kinda hard and make you think alot about the approach you want to take. It makes me want more and I can't wait to see what future levels hold. The sound design is super satisfying. Rotating wires feel and sound good and it doesn't get too annoying. The sound when you complete a level makes you feel good. I see a bright future for this game and I can't wait for more levels to be released. I could also see this game being successful as a mobile game. Do recommend.

I've found that through the little time i've played this game to date that it is an absolute pleasure. Beautiful visual design and easy to use UI; sound affects and music suit the game really well. Being able to come back whenever and pick up where you left off is great. I can say with ease that I love this game casual puzzle game! :D

I purchased this game a few day's ago and I was immediately drawn to the gameplay. For someone who enjoy's a lot of puzzle games, this was a good pass-time to play for a few hours at a time. The levels does continuously get harder and focus more on the problem solving. I definitely recommend the game for those who like to give your brain a small challenge.

This game is both challenging and soothing--seems simple enough but the complexity increases as you progress. I like the background piano too. And, should you encounter an issue, the tech support by the dev is top notch!! A first rate gaming experience for puzzlers!

Hi all, enjoying this game tremendously. Arrived to level VII - 8 and it seems like the top right corner of the map has an unsolvable issue. Unable to progress past it for the time being. Cheers. Edit: I just got a small patch and the level was fixed by the addition of a + on the 4th orange bulb on the right side. Thanks!
