Not a bad ~6 mins roller coaster experience, but could be done much better. What we have here is a 360 video, wrapped in app. Average quality of video and audio prevent you to dive in. Anyway the ideas are quite good (nothing super special, usual tricks helouinskoy subjects, not frightening). But you notice that everything except your cart is 360 video and you can notice compression on darks etc etc. Would be great game if it'll gone free, but I do not recommend to pay for it. Maybe authors will re-release it with the real 3D scene and they had some performance problems with it so they forced to release movie version, anyway it was curious to take a look on this. Anyway I have to refund as the price does not reflect the quality of how game is released (not the ride itself but the technical realisation)
Experienced on the Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/uDMn_r_j09s This is a 6 minute, 360 stereoscopic 3D purely cinematic experience running on the Unity Player. You don't need to use any inputs, whether motion controllers or keyboard. The experience will start and end on its own once you click play from your Steam library. The 3D visuals look amazing. This is one of the best 360 videos where the 3D visuals just pop. However, it is not perfect as there is some noticeable pixelation, especially in some of the dark areas. Also, if you move your VR headset around a lot then you will notice some issues with the visuals. I recommend playing seated and looking mostly in front of you, especially on your first ride. The ride itself is excellent. It's fun, fast-paced and the artists did a great job with all the imaginative funhouse-themed visuals. It's a little spooky, but I wouldn't say it's scary. Really, really enjoyed this experience. Very immersive...great visuals. It's freaky rather than scary but well worth your time and money. Well done Dev's...look forward to more stuff from you.
I really like it! So many "Horror Coaster" experiences are very sparse, slow and lack character. This has a real original look and some sweet neon style lighted sections. It's got a certain kind of look, cause I guess it's a 360 video, but that does not distract from it's awesomeness. Was ready to be disappointed and was very happy instead
Jinxed is adorable! Fairly simple story line. Jinx and his friends used to be the best attraction in the park until "They" shut them down. No one has visited until tonight. Cue Jinx, a lonely little whatever he is, who just wants to entertain visitors with all his friends. There are a few mild jumpscares and please be aware there are flashing lights, but there's no violence and the ride is beautiful. It's clear a lot of love and effort went into this game, from the music to the voice acting and animation. It just needs some TLC to get rid of the debris/fragmenting you see in certain places. Also, I didn't quite make out what Jinx said a few times, he got a little drowned out, not sure if that was intentional because he's an animatronic or puppet that's been abandoned or what.
What a gem! It is short but the amount of work that went to making it is staggering. It has a Pixar quality of graphics to it and some wicked visuals. Not too spooky but definitely makes an impact
Low res 360 video of a rollercoaster / ghost train experience. Interesting, but needs scalability with modern hardware.
For the price i was not expecting much, however i was blown away. The atmosphere and sound is very engrossing, it is much longer than i expected. Couple of unexpected moments and some genuine jump scares. The nephew loved it too, come halloween time im taking all my friends and family on a tour of this freakish themepark! Well worth the time and money!
Basically just a 360 video running... Not recommended
