About This Game

Elemental War 2 takes you into a threatened world: hordes of monsters suddenly pour out of the abysses of hell from a faulty summoned portal. Will you manage to build a defense line of defense towers against the forces of evil in time?

Elemental War 2 offers you the popular tower defense feeling combined with innovative game mechanics: as soon as you defeat an elemental - a particularly strong enemy that will demand everything from you - you'll receive its element stone, which you can use to build new defense towers. As you keep collecting elements, you'll always have new levels and tower combinations at your disposal.

Only if you skillfully combine the different towers and make use of their advantages will you be able to stand up to the monster hordes. Through in-game side quests, you'll also unlock items that further enhance the abilities of your towers or decisively weaken your opponents at just the right time!

Elemental War 2 offers you dozens of hours of gameplay to develop strategies, complete all the quests and discover all the secrets of the game world. The lovingly hand-built maps offer you varied games and always new challenges!

Features
  • The popular tower defense game principle with new gameplay elements
  • Face the powerful elementals and their special abilities
  • Solve quests to unlock upgrades for your towers
  • Play 11 varied maps in three unique environments: forest, ice and desert
  • Play alone or in co-op mode
  • Compare yourself with other players in the global leaderboards

Are you ready to face the elementals?

If you like Tower Defense, be sure to get Elemental War 2. The gameplay is like its predecessor... Plenty of different towers (over 100), many different strategies and a lot of fun. (My review of the 1st Elemental War: https://steamcommunity.com/id/stretch611/recommended/917850 ) Unfortunately, there is no longer a map editor, but that is because the old grid style maps have been replaced with beautiful hand drawn maps and paths. In fact, graphics as a whole have been fully upgraded and it looks spectacular. The towers have new unique designs, and the effects have been improved as well. Like the predecessor, there are items that drop from the elementals. Items can grant passive global abilities, can be inserted into tower to improve or modify that tower, or have a special use that operates on a cooldown system. In addition to the basic items, you can unlock more powerful items by completing quests on each map. The game has online leaderboards (across all platforms and consoles) as ...

Played this a HUGE amount on Stadia and have repurchased on Steam now that Stadia is closing down because its one of the best TD games i have played. The depth is immense. I love the item drop system where you get perks to add to your towers as the stage progresses. The freedom combined with the risk / reward to choose which elemental spawns and then the resulting stress of dealing with that is really fun as well. The devloper is VERY active and supportive on twiter and youtube as well. The attention to detail and refinement of the interface, each tower design and combo is really significant and you can tell that they have really refined the whole experience over the course of development and through feedback. Its one of those games that really grows on you the more you play it and the more you learn.

Fun to play coop with a friend, but could use better explanations about the mechanics. The game starts pretty slow but can get difficult later on. Would also be nice to see how much gold your coop partner has and a message when they leave the game.

Played the first map and it's quite fun so far. Definitely an improvement over the predecessor! + Gameplay mechanics still are the same, but with many small tweaks and enhancements + Graphics are a lot better (there are still some flaws like in the main menu) + Nice soundtrack - No speech output (would be great for the characters) - No story campaign (at least I didn't find any) Tutorial worked okay for me, but maybe still a little too difficult for beginners. Hope the next maps are as varied as the first!

Great TD game overall - completed very quickly with no ability for custom games or map building unlike its predecessor. Would love to see mod tools and such released, though being a unity engine game i doubt it :(

Buggy as all F#@k (with the latest NVidia drivers), change the screen resolution, it crashes the entire PC - not just the game, scroll the map, you've guessed it, it crashes your PC. For something different, try Continuing a game and it just it hangs. What a waste of money.

Can't play the game. Shows a few intro screens then a black screen with music playing then bounces me back to Steam screen. Seems like developer doesn't have a clue.

Overall, Janky. The enemies go in random directions sometimes. it's hard to tell where to place towers. This game had a lot of potential, but it was buggy. I was looking forward to this game, and I LOVE TDs. But this didn't hit many of the right notes

Fun tower defense game with a nice pace when you speed it up. Addictive gameplay with lots of combo possibilities through combining the different elements. I'm still on the first and second map but am enjoying it thoroughly so far. One of the elementals sprayed me with tint , which obstructed the view of the game for a few seconds - a nice touch.

we just buy your game again, after patch we see everything ok now, coop mode very smooth and no more disconect. and if you can, element war 2 should have endless mode; scramble mode; weekly challenge ….. for player. We finish all map and nothing to do more :) We hope new DLC with new play style map and new tower, that very cool
