About This Game

Who are you and why did you come to this land?
This is a dark age and not a place to be.
Peasants do not leave their houses, lords stay in their castles.
We're at the edge of the realm and unpleasant things are hiding out there.
Do not take the current silence for granted.
The fragile balance had been disrupted and terrible events are about to happen.
If you're bold enough, you might be able to change this place's fate.
But act wisely and remember, there will be no second chance.

What if you could see all the possibilities? And experience each one of them? Feels is trying to push non linear stories to their limits. Using the strengths of both games and books, this Text-Based adventure aims to deliver as many endings as possible.

What is this game?

Feels is an ASCII and Text-Based RPG that runs on the command prompt. In this game you can play the way you want. Every one of your decisions, actions and non-actions can influence the world in which you evolve. Because Feels is not limited by advanced graphics, it will offer many ways to play, as well as a profound depth for the path you're choosing.

Main Features:

 • Multiple Endings
 • Complete Soundtrack
 • Turn-based Combat
 • High Difficulty
 • Genuine Characters

How to play?

Feels doesn’t give you much instruction and finding out how to play is part of the challenge. After choosing one of four gods, you arrive at a small village. The fate of the place is between your hands. If you do nothing it will fall to the disease. If you act things will change, but not always in the intended way. The goal of the game is to find all the endings. Each play-through is different and you’ll have to create different characters to find out everything.

This early access game has 14 endings already. The storyline is nonlinear and there are tons of path to choose from. What is fun is that any action you take can change the whole adventure. The difficulty is quite balanced, hard but fair. I’d recommend this game to anyone who likes challenging RPGs and rich stories.

I am having fun so far. You can use physical attacks, spells, or blessings (based on the god you choose). If you like turn-based combat and ASCII graphics, I recommend you try this game out.

I was asked to play and review this game so here it is my honest review of the game:
Positive aspects:

It has such a deep story behind it, I was honestly to intrigued to discover every little aspect of the beginning areas that it took me a while to progress in the game.
It has a unique design that you rarely see in videogames these days, it was classic, charming and flat out fantastic, from the NPC, to items or mobs.
HUD is simple and organized, I don't think any player would get lost in it.
Every character is charming in it's own way, every thing, including items has a unique story behind it.
I really like that the game starts in a window and has a coloured background that you can change.
I really adore the various paths you can take and how just one decision might influence your entire run, from being loved to being hated by certain characters.

In need of work aspects:

Skill points need some revision, or at leas...

So far, I'm really enjoying Feels. It captures this cozy, immersive feeling I get whenever I play these old-school games. What makes it unique is the ASCII art which, while very simplistic, allows me to interpret how each scene is suppose to look. My only real complaint so far is a crash that occurred while writing this review and the lack of a clear indication for when I have to press space to proceed through text (which is only a real problem when you're creating a new file and that's really it). If you're really into these types of simplistic, non-linear RPGs based off of the classics, this game will satisfy your needs.

Do not let it's appearance mislead you, there is considerable depth to this game and plenty of secrets to discover over multiple playthroughs. Recommended especially to those who enjoy roleplaying as their character.
