This game needs to put the player on the course not 20' above it. I couldn't tell what the course layout was because of this. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

Very nearly an unplayable mess. The mechanics would be fine if the putting meter was consistent. The graphics would be fine if you could change your camera angle to get an actual idea of what your putt actually entails. The courses would be fine if an ace were even a remote possibility -- I am of the opinion that every minigolf course should be in principle reachable in one, even if it's an exceedingly difficult and unlikely putt -- but you're lucky to get a third of the way to the pin on an unbelievably good shot. The pin placements would be find if it would actually score balls that genuinely roll over the hole at a slow enough pace rather than rejecting shots that overhang the hole by anything less than 95%. This game desperately needs a free camera, a zoom, better mechanics, and sane holes. If you want to keep the holes as they are, give us a zarking pitching wedge. Otherwise it's an exercise in futility.
I enjoyed this MiniGolf game … It has a natural gameplay and I feel similar as when I play at the mini golf course uptown with my kids on the weekend … The game has a very similar/realistic difficulty level … I needed 2-4 strokes for the easiest lanes and 4-10 for the other ones and one or two really tricky ones I needed much more… and managed to solve the game in 2-3 hours. Although it is possible to play over and over again and improve your score. The graphics are really nice and although the game is older it looks gorgeous - the only downer here is, that you can´t play it in fullscreen mode, only in a window… but I think this is a problem with my high resolution. So thumbs up for this game – I enjoyed it much more than some of the games offered for 5-10 times the price. It´s a great game for a small coffee break or playing it with my kids!
Unable to view shots from overhead, which makes it hard to plan some shots. I've played better mini golf games.
Highly recommended on sale!
Old game but a very good game. You can practise a particular level or go directly into campaign where no retrys are allowed. It got 54 levels and will keep you occupied for 2-3 hours. Game is easy. Worth buying on sale. I got it at 71% discount.
I chased balls, hit holes. I chose a map and drove them again. What balls? And everyone will make their own choice.
To all other reviewers: It's a really old game ported for modern systems, what did you expect? To me, it's a glimpse into my past and I loved playing this game back then. Great to see it on Steam.
It's fairly basic for a game but fun still and a good value for the price. The game has a number of different areas and holes and one thing I am not used to in the mini golf games I played in the past was being able to angle my ball up. Being able to shoot your ball up at an angle makes for some interesting short cuts here and there if you dare try and take them. The ball isn't confined to just the outline of the hole, so you can knock it up and over and I found that to be entertaining and a new concept compared to the mini golf games I played in the past (I admit I haven't played a lot of them so I don't know how common this is). If it cost more I'd have an issue with one specific thing that I feel I need to let go for a game that is only $3. There are camera angle issues that come up sometimes. There are times where the camera should move positions but doesn't and there are a few just bad spots here and there because of the auto camera. If we could move it a bit ourselves that...
I gave it a good chance as I like "mini golf". It has no re-play value at all everything felt very samey
Had potential. This game could seriously have been a real treat of a game. The lack of any camera control at all makes most holes frustrating and all holes basically shear luck. The amusement is short-lived and the strategy is essentially non-existent save for a small knowledge of understanding how angles work. Making a game level difficult shouldn't mean making it difficult to actually play, if that makes sense. This is low-quality for a 2019 game, especially considering that mini-golf was done better by 3D Ultra Minigolf is 1997. That game had better graphics, too. Bought on sale for $1, but it isn't even worth that. Uninstalling.
