Investi-Gator: The Case of the Big Crime

Just loved it. Sequel, sequel, sequel, I am waiting for you!! :-)

This game is brilliantly hilarious and delightful. Do you like goofs? Do you like crimes? Do you like mysterious elves? You'll enjoy the heck out of this. It's an excellent way to spend a few hours. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, especially for the price.

I don't normally laugh at games but this game is hilarious! I love the sense of humour. It's very silly and self-aware. The absurdity of everything is a great source of comedy. This game is not mechanically complicated. The "puzzles" are pretty easy since the game doesn't intend to be challenging. There were some minor problems. You can't save in the middle of a case and you walk way too slowly. Regardless, these problems don't really effect the game overall. It's still great and I highly recommend it.

A very funny, but short mystery parody. I was smiling the entire time I played! Can't recommend this enough for a quick, fun Monkey Island-style adventure. My only complaint would be that the movement is a bit slow and I did get stuck once. Despite what Insti-gator says, I hope there's a sequel!

I love this game! $5 well spent. I would pay another $5 to be honest, but it is kind of short and I wish there was more. If there was a sequel I would totally buy it. One thing I love about this game is you don't really have to think, if you're stupid like me here is the protag to relate to! Not only that it does surprise you a lot, there's many twists and it has a lovely story line, even if it is kind of basic. I also love the art style, and models! I can't find anything bad about this game even if I tried to. If you have extra $5 you should buy this game! It is definitely worth a try and all the cases are about less than an hour so if you end up not liking it you can probably return it. This game is just pure fantastic, no lie here!

A very silly and fun adventure game

A funny short adventure game, exactly as advertised. The hand-puppet in the trailer really sold it for me; this game's made with love! The puzzles are really easy and you won't get stuck. I just had a good time playing this.

Investi-Gator is a fun little game. It's an adventure game, but there aren't really any puzzles to solve - you just need to look at and talk to everyone to advance the plot. The plot is utterly silly. You are the worst detective of all time, but in this world where the characters and situations are so absurd, being the worst is enough to solve the crimes. Well, sort of solve them. The detectiving is really just a framework for the entertaining nonsense that is the actual content. One downside is that it's very buggy and you can't save. Three times in my playthrough either the camera got stuck or the pathfinding got stuck and the only way to fix it was to quit and start over. Mildly annoying. But it doesn't detract too much from the fun that is to be found here. Well worth a play if you're in the mood for some light-hearted storytelling.
