About This Game

I am a personal developer who develops the games I want to achieve by continually learning programming knowledge. When you were playing 2D arcade flight shooting game, did you think about these two questions: "What is the small spaceship below thinking? What does the world it sees?" Based on these two questions, I developed This game. Please expect 'Long Sky' to be a small arcade flight avoidance game that can switch the first person perspective. It's fast, easy, tight, and repeatable, with elements of collection and challenges. Your only goal in the game is to constantly break the score records you created before. I am very grateful for the feedback and bug report.

Well I have to say I enjoy this game when I normally do not enjoy space shooter games. The idea of going first person in the middle of the game makes for a challenge. The background for the game I like as Im a fan of space backgrounds. A+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKKLPAcDlFc

UPDATE: After update I can recommend the game while on sale. [h1]长天 Long Sky is a repetitive score-attack shoot 'em up with one gimmick.[/h1] A small game, [i]Long Sky[/i] is like the game from [i]Unity[/i] tutorials ([url=https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/s/space-shooter-tutorial]Space Shooter[/url]). It's not the exact same game (it is *not* an asset flip) but it is almost as simple. In [i]Long Sky[/i] you, the space ship, shoot asteroids that come straight at you and the occasional alien ships that always do that flanking flip near the bottom of the screen. Try to survive as long as you can and get a highscore. As a gimmick, the view switches from top-down to 1st person and back after a certain time. You can also switch on a free mode where you can choose the view yourself at a cost of getting less score. I'd give it a neutral score, but Steam requires a verdict. There is one reason (there used to be three) I wouldn't recommend it but on a deep sale. [h1]1. It is too bas...

Potentially a very interesting game, not too ridiculously control heavy, with nice graphics and music. But I am having issues with frame rates. No matter what resolution I choose, my frame rates are around about 2 or 3 frames a second. I have a reasonable spec laptop, intel i7 and 8GB RAM. If the frame rate issue could be improved to something playable, say even 20fps or such, it would be slick. Thanks Dev.
