Personally not super fun for me, I started yawning 5 minutes into the game, graphics were cute and puzzles were nice and simple. Not for me though!
The art and story premise appealed to me along with the good reviews. I'll mention I belong to the golden age of point and click generation so this is my base line. Its a nice game but a bit underwhelming for me , I guess I expected more cos it seemed they put a decent amount of effort into it. Its linear , easy puzzles, obvious comments and hints all the time, only two puzzles took me a bit of time to figure out. Story wise it could have been richer, meh I just complain... heh It's okay to get on discount for a younger audience...
Call of the Sea is a gorgeous, yet surprisingly simple puzzle game. Except for one puzzle (in the last chapter), everything else in the story is accurate and conveyed to the player in an effective way. The presentation, voice actors and story are the highlight of this experience. I think Call of the Sea is a great beginner-friendly puzzle game for those who are getting used to the mechanics of traversing a 3D environment and/or those who are looking for a gripping story.

I didn't expect that. The turn this game made. I thought it was just some sunny beach adventure puzzle. Point 'n click. Wrong! I had my yawns and "meh" during the first chapters, but then chapter 3 rudely snapped me back to reality. We're going down! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3537660373 Just keep swimming Whoosh, goodbye sun and thick jungle. Hola, underwater currents and algae! The game picks up the pace from there. We're changing ancient monuments, redirecting columns and swimming, swimming a lot and it is shown as a natural, beautiful process. Uplifting music plays, colourful flora and fauna all around us, even the characters keeps repeating how much better she feels. https://ste...
beautiful story and visuals ruined by an incredibly convoluted and frustrating puzzle system
A lightweigth version of Call of Cthulhu, six chapters of a small river flowing through the end of the story. As a gamer i enjoyed it, buy it if it doesnt carry you then refund.
Really nice to have a cosmic horror game not set in some drab Massachusetts town for the 400th time but in a bright, sunny locale
A visually stunning puzzle game with an interesting story. This game gave me the chills more than once, in its eeriness as well as it's captivating lore and history unfolding. I highly recommend it! The first time I played I had an unfortunate glitch near the end but was able to fix it by heading back a chapter.
A charming narrative-focused tropical horror-puzzler walking simulator set within the Cthulhu Mythos. Whether or not you'll like this game will depend on your enjoyment level of any of the aforementioned descriptors.
