New Super Lucky's Tale

New Super Lucky's Tale is a pretty cute 3D platformers! the controls of the game are pretty good and responsive, movements options such as double jump and using dive to go around makes the platforming enjoyable for me,. Only negative was the slow walking speed (and diving on the ground to slide didn't feel fast enough eithrer). Overall pretty good The level variety is nice, be it the visual or the level design! It's a game that is rather on the easy side though. If you need some challenge, it would be either at the end of the game or trying to do some of the achievements. But that's alright, be it easy, it was pretty fun for me. The music overall was enjoyable, fits the game vibe! although it seems that the overall sounds, such as menu/cutscenes etc are unbalanced despite adjusing it. Story is, like I say, the classic. beat the bad guys and save the world! but you usually don't play those games for the story so it's not a problem. If you love 3D platformers, and want it...

New Super Lucky's Tale is a competent, if somewhat shallow, 3D platformer. However, the gameplay is not compelling enough to make me endure the unskippable cutscenes/dialogue that interrupt it and the annoying sound effects interlaced throughout.

Excellent mascot platformer! It may not be super long, or be as in depth as some AAA titles, but it's really solid and a lot of fun. The boss fights were simple, maybe a little challenging until I learned the movesets. I love the costumes! Also, it plays fantastic on the Steam deck, so that was a bonus. Hope they do a sequel some day!
