Awesome little game, reminds me of a Castlevania like type game. adventure, challenging enjoy it very much. great job with this game.
doesn't tell you how to do anything didn't know I needed a mouse for like 5 minutes
A charming and moderately difficult little retro game. Don't expect a massive, emotional journey or anything though. You can finish this game in the time it takes to nuke a bag of popcorn. Still, I've bought worse for the price.
Short but enjoyable game. I liked it for the mood and wish it was longer. Btw, I've got all achievements, wasn't hard but some people say they are broken, so now this issue is fixed.
Graphics and animations are on point.
This game has a really enjoyable aesthetic and the animations have a ton of personality to them. Unfortunately it's shorter than most game demos. This feels more like a vertical slice than a full game but it's still charming for the price. I would love to see a full release that was at least a couple hours long.
Marvin the Hatter is a platformer-ism game where you control a small boy holding a lit candle. While making your way through the short levels you must get past various monsters, who you can kill by clicking the ground under you to set it on fire with your candle; when the monster walks over the fire, it dies. Good things about the game: it's cheap, short, and has a pretty good soundtrack. Bad things: you have to figure out how everything works because the game doesn't explain anything about its controls or mechanics. some of the levels can be difficult, but more out of unfair enemy placement, and the lack of explanations. I wanted to like this game, but it's very meh.
Who doesn't know how to flush a toilet after they've had a shit?
There isn't really much to say on this game. It's short, I beat in within 20min. It doesn't play super well, the idea of trap laying for combat is interesting in theory but not so much in practice. It's buggy but not in a funny or interesting way. There's not really a story to speak of beyond what is on the store page. It feels more like a flash game prototype from way back when. It isn't offensively bad or anything but there just isn't really much reason to play it.
