User Reviews
After putting loads of hours into Torchlight 2 I picked up the next game in line. After playing it only a little I dropped it and apparently never started it as I own the game for over a year. Would NOT recommend.
Giving this game a thumbs down. I had some fun with it, but there are a few problems. The first is that when you launch the game you are given the choice of making a multiplayer or single player character. I made a multiplayer character and played about an hour. During this time I got horrible loading times between levels and finally the game crashed. I launched again and could not find the server. The multiplayer in this game does not seem to work, or I could not get it to work. So that was a huge waste of time on my part, as I had to start over and can now not play with friends. If the servers work, then they are unreliable and if they don't work, then don't let people make a multiplayer character. Now I played the pirate class. It is a cool class. You can summon undead minions and can summon a huge ghost ship to kill your enemies with a cannon. That's great. My feedback here would be feedback. There is nothing showing which minions I have summoned. And the minions loo...
Some of the achievements are the grindiest of any of the 800 achievement-included games I have played. Long after you have finished all the material, you will be playing to reach them. The game is not nearly good enough to justify them.
What a piece of Garbage! You have flasks of health but Can not use them. Items in backpack but you can not sell them only use them and no way to discard
Torchlight III marks the return of a franchise that once stood as a beloved alternative to Diablo, known for its colorful aesthetic, approachable action-RPG mechanics, and a healthy dose of charm. Developed by Echtra Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment, this third installment brings with it some substantial changes, not all of which land as successfully as intended. Originally envisioned as a free-to-play MMO called Torchlight Frontiers, the game underwent a major shift during development, reemerging as a traditional premium ARPG with a single-player focus. While this pivot brought the game back to its roots, it also left behind some of the depth and cohesion fans might expect from a full sequel. Set a century after the events of Torchlight II, the world of Novastraia is once again under threat, and players must battle back the encroaching Netherim forces. You begin by selecting from one of four distinct classes—Dusk Mage, Forged, Railmaster, and Sharpshooter—each o...
don't know why this game is reviewed to be mostly negative i've found it way more fun and better combat than the 2nd one and i like the classes alot more unique and entertaining along with the pets being more useful feels like combat wise. i guess some people just can't take off their nostalgia goggles
Plays great on Steam Deck.
:D
Not bad. Still learning play styles for various classes.
