I hate having to refund a game that cost less than a dollar, but boy oh boy does this game take the term "Rogue-Like" way too literally in the sense that even OPERATING the game is a Rogue-like experience. Sometimes it won't show up on the right monitor. Sometimes, the orientation is a dizzying 270º (tilted to the left of my screen). Other times, my controller doesn't want to work. And when it does, my Keyboard refuses to work. Truly a revolutionary step in Rogue-like gameplay. I can't even get it to fit my screen. Unfortunate since the game is aesthetically okay. Reminds me of 2000s games involving birds-eye-view space battles. Overall, I hope the Dev fixes the game, because it's barely playable in its current state.

User Reviews
Fly for a minute or two through empty space to a waypoint, then something appears and kills you instantly, sending you back to empty space. Repeat. If you find some enemies that do less damage, there is some combat, but it's not terribly interesting, you just switch to your lower movement speed and circle-strafe mostly.
This game is ridiculous. It doesn't do a very good job of teaching you basic game mechanics (especially the skill system, which is baffling without a decent tutorial) and the objectives are unclear at best. I love space shooters, and I desperately wanted to enjoy this game, but it defied my best intentions at every turn. Not worth the sale price I paid for it, sadly.
a short while after consuming some strange mushrooms I proceeded to enter ASTROG and had a really nice time... while it lasted... because after leveling up some stuff I could no longer play the game at all for some reason. It would just crash as soon as i pressed a button in the game. (This was on Linux). That being said I don't think you should charge for an unfinished game. It's cool that it says its powered by Python programming language but maybe we shouldn't actually be making games in python.. just a thought. I want this game to work however. I think its a really cool idea it's got some trippy aspects to it that I really liked (hence the mushroom joke. don't kill me.) and the gameplay is actually satisfying. The main problem is that it's so buggy i can't actually play it. I think it needs alot more work. Make it free offer it on itchio for free or something to give the game a fighting chance.
