SEASON 7: NORSE
The fierce Norse teams are masters of aggressive blocking and high-risk plays. Prepare your players for even more intense matches, where every confrontation could turn deadly. The Norse season brings the fury of the North directly on to the field!
SEASON 8: AMAZONS

About the Game
Strap on your boots, don your helmet, adjust your shoulder guards and chest plate… and slip a sharpened dagger into your belt (discreetly).
Wars are no longer fought in the Old World since the populace decided to resolve their differences through a sport dedicated to the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. However, just as much blood is shed in this sport as on the battlefields it replaced. Murder, mutilation, cheating, corruption, sorcery and even divine intervention are all fair game on the pitch, to the delight of every rabid fan!
Be merciless but not brainless – Take control of a team from 12 factions available, each with its own unique characteristics, and hobble the progress of your opponents by positioning your players wisely. Dodge or ruthlessly eliminate those who get in your way and reach the end zone to score decisive touchdowns! The cleverest strategists will obviously have the advantage, but will that be enough? An out-of-control troll could devour a team-mate and change the course of the match.

Just stick to BB2 the developers got insanely greedy and now charge for every little customization item and every team is $10. Beyond that day 1 bugs still happen and make you concede matches you were about to win. Eternal league is also a huge let down when it was so much better in BB2. In short: Don't give a cent to these people until they make some changes to their monetization method

Horrible monetization decisions instantly threw me off.
Want to play as your fav team? Sure buy a battlepass and grind for this shit. Oh I forgot to mention it's time limited.
They don't even sell DLCs anymore.
I don't know if they understand who (mostly) plays Warhammer and BB in particular. The answer is 30-35+ aged men. They don't have time no more to grind for sht in video games about their favourite [u]TABLETOP!!!![/u] It's not Fortnite
And oh... by the way I COULD'T CONNECT TO THE SERVERS AFTER PURCHASING THIS GAME!!! Had to work around this bullshit
All in all: worst BloodBowl game ever. I don't even want to try and play it due to how horrible progression looks.
Totally not recommended. Don't waste your time and money.

I had a lot of fun with Blood Bowl 2 in spite of all the problems I had with it. How bad could this game be?
I got a bug on the very first match I tried to play, which prevented it from continuing. This was reported over a month ago and 'should be patched next week', which is three weeks ago.
Perhaps I should have listened to all the negative reviews.

This is a huge downgrade compared to the previous game.
In the previous game you could see the mutations on your characters (like the additional head, or having a tail), with this your character looks exactly the same.
There are some improvements but blood bowl 2 was way better and I keep finding myself drawn to that compared to this.

It unfortunately feels like 1 step forward and 3 steps back.
Where every cool new feature comes with a drawbacks.
It is also unfortunately still buggy as well, with turns randomly ending, blitz blocks being canceled by the dump off skill, balls glitching out and ending up invisible, AI turns freezing up and never ending and leaving the match auto loses it for you.

This is the game we point to when we need an example of monetization gone too far. Excessively greedy game. I guess I would have a good time if I was a millionaire but then I would just play gachas or something because money will actually improve my playing experience there.

Frustrating UI, I mainly play table top so getting used to online is a learning curve. If you are new to blood bowl as a whole the game is risk mitigation disguised as gambling. Its a steep learning curve, but one of the most fun rabbit holes you can go down.

DON'T BUY THIS BLOOD BOWL!!
If you want to play Blood Bowl, get Blood Bowl 2 instead. It is a better game in every way except for graphics.
Both games have basically the exact same teams, except you can also mix teams in Blood Bowl 2. Blood Bowl 2's DLC teams are half the price of Blood Bowl 3's.
I wish I refunded this game back when it came out, but I thought it would get better over time. I was very wrong.

It's not perfect, but if you can't get to a tabletop it sure scratches that itch! Great for trying out new teams that you're interested in playing on the tabletop too! I just hope they add the few remaining teams that are left.
