Apostle

Persona with bobs and vagene, you play as a LEGAL AGE teenager with a mission to save the world, that's it. literally Persona, which kinda impressive they can make it with RPG Maker, plenty of details, unique mechanic, dialogue's a bit cringey but at least the story is good The thing I don't like about this game is it took many hours of repetition to unlock all the gallery, because for some reason you can only date 1 girl at a time, what kind of dystopian crap is this, there's harem route so it's not as bad as it sounds.

Okay, this review is about to start with a very hot take, but I also feel it's very important to make sense of what I am about to say about this game: Apostle gave me a better experience than Persona 5. I know it seems like a wild claim, but it's not too unfounded. I understand it's weird comparing a mainstream game to a literal porn game, but it only makes it even more ludicrous when I consider this to be the better achieving media. Apostle is a JRPG set in a fantasy highschool setting where you manage your relationships and your student life with the ongoing supernatural plot. As far as the premise goes, it's direct competition with Persona, but I favor Apostle over P5 for a couple of reasons. Despite being a porn game, that does not mean the game is devoid of story, characterization, background, world building or any of the sort. Of course, because of the genre, you WILL find and be involved with a lot more fucking that you'd have in a non-porn game, but the writers didn...
